Prayer for boldness to represent the value of the Bible

Bible Reading:
“Therefore, my beloved brother is always willing and immobilized in the work of the Lord, that he knew that thy labor was not in vain.” -1 Corinthians 15:58
Read or listen to the following:
Doubt, dismantling, trauma, alienation, confusion, sin, distraction, and joy… these are the standard tools our soul enemies use to separate us from the solid foundations of our faith. We must be wary of cultivating deep roots in our spiritual life. This means that we must stand firm and be able to boldly share what is most important to us with others. One of the keys to bold faith is a strong sense of identity in Christ. If we don’t know who we are, how can we get closer to the truth to others? How do you acquire this secure identity? Spend time with words, learn the truth of God, worship other saints, and calm your heart in prayer. These are the ways God meets us and reveals more who He is.
Colossians 2:7 says, “As you taught, you are built up in Him, established in His faith, and overflowing with Thanksgiving.”
We want to be people rooted in Jesus with a grumpy faith. As we become more connected and understanding of who God is, we become better equipped to share those beliefs and navigate the challenges that life poses. As God’s Word penetrates our hearts, it becomes easier and more accessible when we need to extract and share that truth. As our hearts are practiced with praise and gratitude, it feels natural to share this feeling with those around us. As life gets tougher, our rest and prayer rhythms become our go-to when we need to be at peace. Our faith is stronger every day because we intend to know God with a heart and to make him known in everything we do.
Joshua 1:9 says, “Don’t I command you? Be strong and brave. Don’t be scared, discouraged and disappointed, because wherever your God goes, your God will be with you.”
We are never alone, so we can stand firm in the face of criticism, doubt, etc. Be bold and brave as God will be with you wherever you go! You don’t need to stand firmly on your own. You can always rely on God to provide the grace you need to cling to His truth.
Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Therefore, I will make disciples of all the nations, and I will baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe everything I have commanded you.
As we grow, we must share our knowledge of God’s way. Go and make disciples and share God’s truth and good news with others. It is part of our Christian duty to share God’s love with others. We want to invite those who have been lost to his family and show them the way to eternal life with Jesus. It is our privilege to boldly share God’s good plans with those closest to us, those we bump into every day, and with people all over the world. This news is too good to protect yourself!
Let’s pray:
Father, please establish me firmly in my faith. Please reveal to me the person I am within you in my heart and provide me with the grace to learn your path. Keep quiet what works to distract me from following your path. It cultivates deep roots within me and continues to ground me as doubts and trials enter my life. Give me boldness when I feel guided to share my faith. Write your words in my heart and heart so that they can guide me when I’m not sure. Help me make disciples in my home, in my community and in the world. I share God’s good news every time I get. Amen.
