Prayer to bring our small limits to Jesus

If I was infinite, why would I need a relationship with the creator of everything? I don’t need strength, I don’t need help, I don’t need a Savior. By God’s grace, our heavenly Father chose to send his son to fill the gap. He sent his son first and foremost to replace our sins, but he sent Jesus to bless us by meeting us in our weaknesses. This is visible throughout the Bible. When it appears that God’s people are consumed, God saves them. This can be seen in Noah and Ark. We witness this through Jehoshaphat’s prayer in 2 Chronicle 20. It is seen that the walls roll down in the Battle of Jericho. Many times, God has proven himself faithful to his weakness.
When Paul wrote two letters to the Church in Corinth, he warned his followers, boasted only to Christ, and enlightened them to rejoice in the limits God had placed on them.
Read Corinthians 1:26-31. “Think of your calling, brothers: not wise according to secular standards, many were not powerful, many were not noble births. And for him you are in Christ Jesus, who has become wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification and red.
This part of the Bible opened me wide earlier this year. God chose the ones that are low and lightly spiked in the world. That is to say, people and places with restrictions, and he used them to display his glory. Think about what will change in your life if you feel weak for your strength and surrender in the area where you have rested to Christ. That much will change. Both inside and outside.
Your mind is more dependent on the Lord and is more willing to trust you to give you what you need to pass through the path before you. When you trust and see God’s faithfulness, an overflow effect occurs. You start sharing what he has done with the people around you. He takes your weakness and strengthens his name.
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for taking the realms of my life that I feel weak and using them to reveal your strength. I am immeasurably blessed to serve God who wants to use me in the Kingdom in ways I never imagined. Father, if I hold back on my weaknesses and hold them proudly to “prove something,” then help me release these things to you. When I hand them over, I pray that you will feel your peace and be washed away by reminding me that your power is perfect in my weakness. You are a good and loyal father. Be bold with the gifts you have given me and help me to be bold with humility enough to come to you when I need help. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
