Prayer when people misunderstand you

Bible reading: “Therefore, if encouraged by unity with Christ, if he is comforted from his love, and if he has the common sharedness, kindness and compassion of the spirit, he will perfect my joy by having the same love and being one of the spirit and one heart.” – Philippians 2:1-2
Read or listen to the following:
I shared my thoughts with a group of people. The words I spoke were not intended to chide anyone. They weren’t targeting one person. They did not condemn it. From my point of view, they were nuggets of wisdom. A lawyer, mainly for people like me who are growing up.
However, one person was attacked personally.
Soon, the person began to comment on how wrong I was. The way they didn’t expect this to come from me.
Confused, I responded to love. One day I wasn’t walking in this guy’s shoes. I don’t know what it was like to travel through their lives. There is a caring heart behind their pointy guns, so people pull the trigger.
Individuals can respond to pain, past experiences, self-protection, or even sacred calling in tension that they are still being resolved. They can hear what is not said, or see what is not even there.
Just a few minutes ago, I couldn’t see through my reading glasses. My lens had some dirt. Frankly, the pain and pain from yesterday can equally taint our view.
I had to take off my glasses and wipe away my past imprints.
Some of us may need to do the same thing. We may need to clean up the ways people hurt us. We may need to clear the trauma we have experienced. How do you do this?
“God, I will forgive them from my heart.” He also says, “God, will you forgive me for being angry and bitter?” We will remove all our wounds and sin to God, as long as the East is from the West. We are allowed and let it forget.
In fact, it’s much easier than I say, but it’s also essential for us to live together in the way the Lord desires. Mostly in the way that brings the most joy.
“Therefore, if I am encouraged by unity with Christ, if I have comfort from His love, the common shared spirit, kindness and compassion, 2 And I will make my joy perfect by being like-minded, having the same love, and being one of the spirit and one heart” (Philippians 2:1-2).
In this way I want to bring the joy of the Lord! Right?
We can do our part, let go of the past, and live our lives in the joy of encouragement, love, sympathy and one heart despite our differences.
Why do we ask for the same thing from people, because the two on Earth think the same thing, believe the same thing, and look exactly the same?
The process where God has each of us is good. He lives his life with others when we submit to him to work within us.
Maybe God wants to help you release so that you can see more of him?
Let’s pray:
Father, give me the heart to love others as you love them. Remove what you want in me. Thank you for always loving me. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
