This weekend, October 4th-5th, will be held in the general meeting of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The October 2025 General Assembly – the Church’s 195th Semi-Annual General Conference – features messages from the quorum of 12 Apostles and other Church Leaders. The five general sessions are for all individuals, family and friends.

Session schedule for the October 2025 General Meeting
There will be three sessions on Saturday, October 4th and two sessions on Sunday, October 5th.
Saturday morning session, 10am AM MDT. Sature Day After Session, 2pm PM MDT. Sature Day Evening Session, 6pm PM MDT. Sunday morning session, 10am AM MDT. Sunday After Session, 2pm PM MDT.
All five general sessions, including Saturday night sessions, are for all audiences. The morning and afternoon sessions are scheduled to last for two hours, with the Saturday evening session being 90 minutes.
How to watch the October 2025 General Meeting
The October 2025 General Meeting will be broadcast live worldwide from the Salt Lake City conference centre. In 78 languages for the Churchofjesuschrist.org/broadcasts and the Gospel Library app, 12 languages for the General Conference YouTube channel, and 11 languages for the Gospel Stream.
Sessions will be streamed live in English on KSL-TV, KSL NewsRadio, Byutv, Byuradio and their respective websites and smartphone apps.
General Conference is also available through gospel voice skills and Tunein on Amazon Alexa devices by searching for “Saint Channel Talk” or “Canalderos Santos” (for live Spanish interpretation).

Announcement, news before the October 2025 General Meeting
What happened at the general meeting in April 2025?
At the final session of the April 2025 General Assembly, President Nelson announced the locations of 15 new temples, and people all over the world responded with excitement and joy.
During Saturday morning sessions, members maintained a change in the 16 new presidents, a new young male general presidential position and a 70’s presidency. It was also announced that on August 1st, five general authority 70s will be given status in honor.
Twelve musicians from nine countries around the world joined the Tabernacle Choir in Temple Square as global members to sing on Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings and afternoon sessions.
On Thursday, April 3rd, the leadership session maintained the 78 new area 70s, with 57 areas designated in the 70s for release before August 1st.
