In God’s justice and mercy, God gives promises throughout the Bible, both in the New and Old Testaments. On Sunday’s service airing, Todd Coconato shares the Bible that we can stick with as a promise from the Lord, despite our good and bad circumstances.
“God loved the world so much that he gave him his only born son.
This poem is the most recognizable poem of all potentially. But sometimes we miss the greater promise that God is giving us through this poem.
“The promise of eternal life is the foundation of our faith,” says Coconato. “The promise means that death is not the end, but the glorious eternal beginning with our Creator.

“I will leave with you. I will give you my peace. I will give you, as the world gives you, so that you will not bother your heart.
One of the greatest promises we can have is the promise of God’s peace on this earth now.
“In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, God’s peace stands as a fortress,” says Coconat. “This peace goes beyond understanding and protects our hearts and hearts.”
“But my God will supply all your needs according to the richness of glory by Christ Jesus.”
We are promised that God will give us everything we need. He is a good shepherd who leads us in all our ways. He never lets us get lost when we keep focusing on him.
“When we first seek God’s kingdom, we believe that He will provide us with a wealth of wealth,” says Coconat.
“But those who wait for the Lord must renew their strength. They run with wings as eagles, and they run, and not tired, and they must not walk and faint.”
“If it’s the season of waiting, your strength is updated right now, as God’s Word will not return to its ineffectiveness. It’s a lamp on our feet. It’s our daily bread,” says Coconato.
“I trust in the Lord with all my heart, and I will not rely on your own understanding. I will recognize Him in all your ways, and He will direct your way.”
Coconato believes in not trusting what we see naturally, but in the supernatural abilities of God that we must do.
“I don’t know how you’re trying to do it or when you’re trying to do it, but you’re going to do it,” says Coconato.
“Remember, I will always be with you, until the end of my age.”
God will not abandon his children. He is always with us, in the middle of every situation.
“The promise of God’s existence guarantees that we are never alone,” says Coconato.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful, only to forgive our sins and cleanse them from all iniquity.”
To admit our sins and repent brings true freedom as it allows Jesus to truly become the Lord in our lives. Confessing our sins allows us to change what He needs to change.
“It’s not a work, it’s due to grace, it’s due to his mercy,” says Coconato.
“And the prayer of faith saves the sick, and the Lord raises him, and if he sins, he will be forgiven.”
While the promise of healing may seem impossible for many, God still heals people to this day. Sometimes it comes in a different form or way than what we wanted.
“God’s promises are the healing of our physical and mental illnesses. Through faith and prayer, we can experience God’s healing touch and bring us back to perfection,” says Coconato.
“He will cover you with his wings, and under his wings you will find protection. His faithfulness will become the wall of your shield.”
“The promise ensures that safety and security are in his hands in his care,” says Coconato.
“In all this, we are more than a conqueror through him who loves us.”
In Christ we discover the ultimate victory. Through him we were forgiven and made sons and daughters of the highest king.
“This promise gives us the confidence we will face the battle of life with the confidence that we will win…” Coconato says.
These ten promises are just a few of the many who God gives us to know His endless love for us.
