The Florida alligator had a 15-year-old summer hinote on his chin, but was not ready to surrender. Instead, she fought back by punching the gator until her friend could help her get safe.

The June 22nd incident took place in Pond Creek, about 25 miles northeast of Destin.

“Me and my two friends decided to walk downstream, but we were a mile ahead of the downstream,” Summer said, according to Wear-TV.

According to WRBW-TV, when Summer realized there was something in the deep waist water that wasn’t friendly, they were ready to go home.

“I felt something polishing for me,” she said.

“I’ve just started punching it as hard as I can,” she said, after she felt her teeth in her thighs.

She said the crocodile “let go to get better grip.”

“I let it go and grabbed me again,” Natsu told Wea. “And it took me a drug under the water and then shaking me around.”

According to WRBW, she said.

She was suffering from severe amputations, but she ended up maintaining her leg.

“It could have been much worse than it actually is,” she said.

She pointed out that she reached out to God, even in the midst of her crisis.

“I hit the ground,” said Natsu after getting off the water. “I lay on the ground because I couldn’t run for the real thing, and I just started praying.”

“My friend came to me and I said, ‘Are my feet still there?” Summer said. “He said, ‘You’re fine, you’re fine. It’s not that bad, but we have to get up, he’s coming from behind you.”

“So he had to pick me up and another friend because my other friend was going crazy and running up the bank.

“And Gator couldn’t get up to his feet, so he had to pick both of us up at the same time and run there,” she said.

Summer mom, Shri, took her to the hospital.

“One of her friends has arrived at the place they serve, so I get the call,” she said. “I got bitten by a crocodile in the summer.”

“That’s all I need to hear,” she said. “I left like I did now and jumped into the truck, 911.”

Her mom pulled Summer into her pickup bed and took her to treat her.

Officials estimate that the crocodile was about 10 feet long.

“People were saying we were provoking Gators, but that’s not true at all,” Summer said.

When asked what advice she would give to others in her situation, she said, “To be honest, I just start praying. God is the one who has you.”

According to WRBW, the crocodiles that attacked the summer remained loose.
