In a dramatic escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the Pentagon confirmed that the US had carried out a drastic, high-precision strike against Iran’s three most important nuclear sites. The operation, dubbed the “Midnight Hammer,” was carried out under the direct orders of President Donald J. Trump, and involved the biggest deployment of B2 spirit stealth bombers in US history.

During the live Pentagon briefing, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses and Chairman Dan Kane revealed this. This was not a normal military operation. It was a bold and calculated show of American strength and technical advantage, aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear ambitions and restoring deterrence.

“The operation is designed to dismantle Iran’s nuclear weapons infrastructure so badly. It was planned and executed in multiple domains and theaters, with coordination that reflected the ability to project power with speed and accuracy at the time and place of choice for our country,” Kane said. “This is a highly categorized mission, and few people in Washington knew the timing and nature of this plan.”

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses also thanked and glorified God to everyone involved in the mission.

“I want to celebrate our Commander-in-Chief, but it was an honor to see him lead last night and throughout. On this successful operation to our great American warriors: God’s Blessing, God’s Blessing America and we will continue to glorify God and seek His protection,” Hegses said.

The mission included seven B2 bombers, each flying an 18-hour round-trip trip from the US, with staff describing it as a complex and highly secret operation. The aircraft were supported by refuelers, cyber operators, and US submarines launching more than 20 Tomahawk missiles and various support aircraft. The strike marked the first operational use of the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Perenetrator (MOP), a 30,000-pound bunker-smashing bomb.

Target (Ford, Natanz, Esfahan) is one of Iran’s most strengthened and strategically valuable nuclear facilities. Between 6:40pm and 7:05pm Eastern time, the B2S dropped 14 MOPS, causing what the initial assessment called “very serious damage.”

Authorities confirmed that no US aircraft had been fired during operation. Iran’s radar and air defense systems were effectively blind, allowing exits by typing strike packages to be detected.

It has been repeated that the Iranian president’s message of “wise” and “listen” to Iran really meant that the US is not seeking war, but that it means that America’s security and allies like Israel are being threatened, responding with great force. The administration has made it clear that the strike is not about a change of government, but rather neutralizing the direct and escalating threat.

Despite reports of information suggesting that Iran did not resume construction of nuclear weapons earlier this year, the White House says the new intelligence reporting agency has encouraged rapid action otherwise.

The operation sent a strong message not only to Iran, but also to potential Tehran allies such as North Korea and China. The Department of Defense has confirmed that troop protections are rising across the region, and the US forces remain ready to respond to retaliation.

With the mission finished and service members returning home, the authorities expressed pride in accuracy, discipline and power. Hegus also said he hopes Iran will “go on the path of negotiated peace.”

The briefing occurs as the official leader of Yemeni Hooty said Iranian allies will come to its defense.

According to the Jerusalem post, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Corps went to social media where they wrote, “Now, a war has begun for us.” They further denied the strike and said Trump’s comments were “just a media show” before finally confirming the attack on the nuclear facility.

Now, Yemeni Hooty officials are supporting Iranian allies who say that the response from Iran is only a matter of time.

With wise counsel and wise counsel and identification for our leaders, we will continue to lift up the Middle East, America and countries around the world in prayer.
