Next is the prayer text provided by President Russell M. Nelson to offer the Syracuse Utah Temple on Sunday, June 8th, 2025.

O, in the name of our eternal Father, Jesus Christ, we are gathering to offer this.

We are grateful to be your contract child. We thank your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Savior. Because of His tone sin, we are grateful that you and our loved ones have the potential for eternal life. Heavenly Father, we praise you, and honor you and your beloved son.

We are grateful to Joseph Smith, the Prophet of Restoration. His faithfulness has enabled the Gospel to bless your children across the globe.

We are grateful for your faithful tithes around the world who have helped fund this temple.

Now, I will summon the keys of the holy apostle ship that has been given to me, and through the authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood, I now offer for the sacred purpose of You and your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and the Temple of Syracuse Utah.

We dedicate this temple from the scaffold to the tower. Each room is dedicated to the specified purpose. We offer baptism and altar where sacred covenants are made. We offer our heavenly chambers to be a place of personal revelation and peace for all who come here.

We ask that you congratulate audiovisual equipment and all other important systems. Bless the sacred ground on which this magnificent structure stands.

Additionally, supplemental buildings will be dedicated on the site and facilities for designated purposes.

You protect this house and its surroundings from the elements and from those who may approach these sacred premises with evil intentions. May this sacred house beacon of hope for everyone who sees it.

We ask you to bless the temple presidency, Matron and her assistants, and all those who serve as temple workers.

We are grateful to be disciples of Jesus Christ and to know that he is standing at the head of his church. He conducts his works through those whom we maintain as prophets, visionaries and revelations.

I pray that this temple is a home of peace and personal revelation for all who are worthy of entering these doors. May their families be strengthened and protected as they serve here.

Encourage our young people to attend your home frequently. Always bless them, hoping that they deserve the recommendation of the temple. Inspire you to enter your home and stand as your witness and your beloved son.

For these blessings, and all that you deserve to grant us, we thank you.

Dear Father, we love you, and we love your beloved son, Jesus Christ. Humble, we offer the sacred name of Jesus Christ, the prayer of Amen’s devotion.
