overview
Elder Vargas was baptized at 26 at the Chilean Full Chiller. After his baptism, his views of work and life changed, and he realized that “everything indicates that God exists” (Alma 30:44). When there are dangerous places, focus on Jesus Christ. He allows everyone to find a way back to their home.
Our divinity and destiny
Each one is a son or daughter of heavenly parents. Moses was freed from the attacks of his enemies by remembering his divine nature (see Moses 1:4-13). Frequent dangers of mortality attempt to separate believers from the course of living water that leads to father and eternal life. Everything is important to God and you have the right to receive His help.
Nutrition needs
Prayer, Bible study, temple worship, and church attendees spiritually nourish God’s children. After being nourished by the gospel of Jesus Christ, you will long to share it with everyone.
Return to our heaven
God’s children want to return to heavenly house. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His Atonian sins allows us to make a covenant and this return is possible. Jesus Christ is eager to share his burden, and his tone sin is permitted to be forgiven and remembered by him. Repenters may not forget their sin completely, but they remember Jesus Christ in the Holy Cra Ordinance and in the temple attendance. The temple brings comfort and great hope. Because of the plan of happiness, suffering only continues in a few moments. The covenant takes God’s children near him, making the impossible possible, filling the darkness and doubt with light and peace. Jesus Christ lives, and He knows everything and loves it. By giving life to Jesus Christ and His teachings, a certain holy, firm, can endure. The storm of wind; and endure to the end and rejoice.
Reflection Questions
How did the light of Christ guide you towards your heaven?
Who can you express God’s love this week?
How do you nourish yourself spiritually? How can you help others find mental nutrition?
When you are hurt or offended, what can you do to recognize God’s feelings towards you?
How can we “center our lives in Jesus Christ and His teachings”?
Speaker quotes
“When we focus our lives on Jesus Christ, we go home, endure the end, and are happy to the end.”
reference
“Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, the life. I will not climb Father, but each of us is each of us a son or daughter of the beloved spirit of our heavenly parents. Perfect, and in the end, we will realize their God’s destiny as heirs of eternal life.” “And if you maintain my commandments and endure to the end, you will have eternal life.
Invitations and promises
“Prayer, Bible, temples, and regular attendance at Sunday meetings is essential to our spiritual menu.” “We remember him when we go to the temple, when we go to the Lord’s house. The temple gives us a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ who will lead us to eternal life, allowing us to seduce, attack, and bite our charms of self.
story
Salmon originates from the source of the river, but they swim down to reach the sea. Eventually, they return to their place of birth. Similarly, God’s children have their own “magnetic maps, or the light of Christ” to lead them into the heavenly house. While teaching the priesthood class as a new convert, Elder Vargas felt angered at the uneasy conversation that took place. He had planned to leave for a while and not return, but the worried priesthood owner invited him to focus on Christ, not on the circumstances. He later told Elder Vargas that he heard a voice saying, “Take him. He’s important to me.” All of God’s children are important to him. The first and last day saint of Chile declared to his family and friends one day before he died, declaring that the missionary had invited him to be happy with his family. He asked his family and friends to “tell everyone in Chile to tell the gospel that it’s happy.” This member dedicated his life to serving God and his neighbors in love.
