All Israel News and Joshua Fund’s Lynn, me and our colleagues are absolutely thrilled with the news yesterday that the US Senate finally voted to confirm former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is Israel’s next American ambassador.
Huckabee and his wife, Janet, are expected to arrive in Jerusalem as early as next week to serve as the post.
David Milstein, who served as an aide to former Trump ambassador David Friedman from 2017 to 2020, will serve as Senior Advisor to Huckabee.
After bitter, brutal and prejudiced attacks by left-wing Muslims and Jews, he is trying to make his appointment a core – often because he is an evangelical Christian Zionist, the final vote was 53-46.
Pennsylvania’s John Fetterman was the only Democrat to vote in favor.

Israeli leaders on the ideological spectrum (right, center, left) quickly praised the confirmation.
“Congratulations to my dear friend @govmikehuckabee. I have been confirmed as the next ambassador to Israel as the next ambassador to the United States,” wrote Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “This is a great day for the Israeli-American alliance.”
Foreign Minister Gideon Sarle wrote: “I spoke with @govmikehuckabee and congratulated me on my confirmation as the US ambassador for Israel. He is a true friend of the Jewish state and I look forward to working together to further strengthen the unbreakable bonds between our nations!”
Opposition leader Yair Lapid wrote:
Former Defense Minister Benny Gantz wrote: “@govmikehuckabee is a ruthless ally of Israel and the champion of a special partnership between Israel and the United States. Congratulations on President Trump’s bipartisan confirmation as President of Israel.”
“Congratulations to @govmikehuckabee on becoming Israeli ambassador to President Trump and the US President. I have never met Governor Huckabee. Mike’s heart has seen us with us,” said Prime Minister Naftari Bennett, who is now the most popular leader in Israeli politics.
Evangelical leaders and congregations are equally enthusiastic.
After all, Mike Huckabee himself is a devout evangelical of former Baptist pastor Jesus Christ, and one of the most influential pro-Israel voices in Christianity.
He is a passionate champion of the US-Israel alliance and is a fierce defender of Israel’s “avalry of lies” that comes from the Iranian regime, other hostile world governments, and much of the US and global media.
In addition to hosting the most popular shows on TBN, the most monitored Christian TV network in the United States, Huckabee has joined all Israeli News Advisory Boards since establishing the media platform in 2020.
Huckabee’s confirmation as ambassador sends Trump’s strong message of standing firmly in Israel, and Huckabee rejects the failed policies of Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, who were keen critics.
His appointment was also an unmistakable indication of how seriously Trump was accepting the immense influence of millions of evangelical Christians in the United States who love Israel and the Jews deeply.
As all Israeli news reported when the nomination was first announced last fall, this is the first time in history that the US president has chosen an ambassador for Israel, and is committed to being very openly and embarrassing to his love for Jesus Christ and the Bible.
Furthermore, Huckabee is “first non-Jewish ambassador in 16 years.”
Travelling to Israel more than 100 times in his life – “Walking where Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets walked” to a Christian tour group – Huckabee’s recent visit co-hosted an evangelical “solidarity mission” on behalf of everything in Israeli News and the Joshua Fund.

“I have been traveling to Israel for over 50 years with the first trip in July 1973. Since 1981, I have been leading thousands of Americans here,” Huckabee told All Israel News at the time.
“I’ve mostly been to Israel several times a year and have come here to show my solidarity and support during the 2014 Gaza War with Intifada. But this trip is probably my most important thing.”
“What happened on October 7th was rebellious, and I’m pissed at the world and the media’s opposition to Israel.”
“I came here and made it loud and clear that the evangelicals were standing with Israel,” Huckabee said. “We believe in the Bible and are grateful to God for making it clear that God loved Israel and the Jews and chose to bless them.”
“That’s why evangelicals pray that Israeli hostages will not soon return home and stop winning over Israeli enemies, and that is why many Christians are donating millions of dollars to provide urgently needed humanitarian relief to those struggling in this tragic war.”
