Something healthy and justice happened during the Trump administration’s first cabinet meeting: Prayer.
Before the meeting began, the president asked someone to say grace. Scott Turner, a former megachurch pastor and now Urban Development (HUD) secretary in the United States, took the challenge, praying for the Lord’s anointing and leading him to this new presidential administration.
“Father, I thank you for this incredible privilege before you,” Turner prays. “Thank you, God, for allowing you to see. On this day, the Bible says that your mercy is new every morning. And God’s Father, we give you glory and honor.”

TD Jakes releases a claim upon admission
Bishop TD Jakes filed affidavits against those who accused him of sexual abuse, labeling him as a “bully” who wanted to tear his reputation.
This corresponds to Duane and Richard Youngblood’s claim that Jakes tried to assault them a few years ago. As ChurchLeaders.com points out, Jakes argues it was this legal battle that landed him in the hospital.
“All of this was happening, but I realized my wife was helping her recover from knee replacement surgery and that my siblings were helping her navigate kidney failure,” the statement reads. “This unfair stress brought me to a place where I had a health crisis on the stage in front of my entire congregation. As a man who had not had any health challenges before, this near-death experience was a turning point for me. Enough is enough!”
