Cracker Barrel quietly removed the Pride page from its website as it faces intense rage over its short-lived rebranding efforts.
Previously, the Culture & Inclusion page, which includes the “LGBTQ+ Alliance,” was renamed “Cultural and Attribution.” “In Cracker Barrel, people who are welcoming people are always at our heart. When we take care of each other, we can take better care of those walking down the door.”
A representative from the Tennessee-based chain told Fox News that it recently made changes to its business resource group.

“In relation to the company’s brand work, a statement to Fox stated, “We have recently updated the Cracker Barrel website, including adding new content and removing deleted content.”
The spokesman said: “A few months ago, the company also made changes to our business resource group and now focused all sponsorships or events on corporate delivery initiatives: Addressing food insecurity, supporting community needs with food, reducing food waste.” ”
Before the bipartisan rejection of Cracker Barrel’s minimalist brand, conservative activists Chris Rufo and Robby Starbuck called for an “Old Country Store” to join the LGBT-themed initiative.
Starbuck promoted the quiet shift as a “big win” and sought more action from the cracker barrel.
What @crackerbarrel remains to do:
•Please tell me that you only donate to reasons that the majority of your customers feel uniform.
• ERG will disband and send communications to employees that instead all Cracker Barrel employees can join a single employee group… https://t.co/tupcnphxxk

For context, in 1991, Cracker Barrel boasted a corporate policy that showed employees who did not demonstrate “normal heterosexual values” would lose their jobs, Fox News reported. In total, 11 employees were fired under the rules, sparking nationwide protests.
The Southern Comfort restaurant chain began moving towards the Pro-LGBT view.
In 2014, for example, Phil Robertson, the family’s patriarch, pulled all “duck dynasty” products out of the store after making comments expressing support for the biblical view as a lifelong coalition between one man and one woman.
And in 2024, Cracker Barrel sponsored the Nashville Pride Parade and celebrated the Pride Morning by unveiling the brand’s iconic rainbow rocking chair line.
All of this happens as the older man featured in the restaurant’s famous logo faces tough scrutiny online due to the redesign of the logo, which eliminated the “old timer” which announced that the new dining room would be whitewashed and decorated to a more minimal degree.
The company’s stack fell 14%, and the brand lost around $100 million worth in just a few days. Even President Donald Trump placed emphasis on the inverted courses by Branding Karfahl and Cracker Barrel.
“We would like to thank our guests for sharing your voice and their love for cracker barrels,” the company said in a statement Tuesday evening. “We said we’ll listen, and we have. Our new logo will go away and the ‘old timer’ will remain. ”
“With a cracker barrel,” he continued. “It’s always like that about providing delicious food, warm welcome and country hospitality that makes you feel like a family.
