Three renderings and a site map of the Philippine Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were released today.
These Houses of the Lord are three of the country’s 14 temples in various stages: Naga Philippines Temple, Santiago Philippines Temple, and Iloilo Philippines Temple.
Images of each temple and corresponding location were published on ChurchofJesusChrist.org on February 23rd.
Three Temples in the Philippines is a common theme in early 2026, with three more Houses of the Lord scheduled to be dedicated in the first five months of this year.
The Davao Philippines Temple and Bacolod Philippines Temple will be dedicated on May 3 and May 31, respectively, and the Alabang Philippines Temple will be dedicated on January 18. At the time, Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said the Philippines has “some of the most resilient and happy people you will find anywhere in the world.”
See below for the announced locations and architectural plans for Naga Temple, Santiago Temple, and Iloilo Temple.

Fourteen Lord’s houses have been dedicated, are under construction, or have been announced in the Philippines.
Four of the temples are currently in operation: Manila Temple (consecrated in 1984), Cebu City Temple (2010), Urdaneta Temple (2024), and Alabang Temple (2026).
This year, two temples are scheduled to be dedicated on May 3 in Davao and May 31 in Bacolod. Adding the recently consecrated Alabang Temple to these two dedications, the number of temples in the country will increase three to six times by 2026.
Two more temples are under construction. Construction is underway in Cagayan de Oro starting August 2024 and in Tacloban City starting January 2025.
With this, six main houses are in the planning stage: Naga (to be announced in 2022), Santiago (2022), Tuguegarao City (2023), Iloilo (2023), Laoag (2023), and San Jose del Monte (2025).

Since the Philippines was opened for missionary work in 1961, church growth in this country has been among the fastest growing in the world. By 1970, the church was based on eight major islands in the Philippines. In 1974, Elder Ezra Taft Benson, then of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, organized the first stake in the Philippines.
There are currently more than 880,000 Latter-day Saints living in more than 1,300 wards and branches in this country. The Philippines, with its large number of Church members, has the fourth largest Latter-day Saint population in the world.
