The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ 2026 churchwide broadcasts and events will include events for all members and friends, children, youth, young adults, and women. The 100th anniversary celebration of the Institute of Religious Studies will be held in May.
The schedule also indicates when church videos and resources for youth and children will be available, as well as other reminders to help leaders plan community activities and events.
Event and broadcast information is also available online at events.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, local newsroom sites, the church-wide calendar at calendar.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and the Membership Tools mobile app.
“Local, stake, and ward leaders are encouraged to review their schedules and prayerfully consider when and how to use these resources to bless the lives of those in their care,” according to a notice published Thursday, Oct. 30, at ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
This list also describes which events require local planning and collection to supplement materials from church headquarters. “Please also be aware of the target audience for each broadcast and work with stake and district organizations to plan these events for that audience,” the notice states.
January 18: Walk with Me Worldwide Discussion for Youth
The videos feature church leaders, youth, and music to help you understand this year’s theme, “Let Us Walk Together” (Moses 6:34). It can be used during Sunday gatherings or as part of weekday activities. Audience: Youth and youth leaders.
February 1: Global devotion for young people
This broadcast commemorates the Institute’s 100th anniversary. Young people from all over the world are invited to attend meetings in their local units and institutes on February 1st or during the week to witness piety. Watch live or on-demand at 6pm MST. Target audience: Young people aged 18-35.
March 5: Temple and Family History Leadership
This 30-minute pre-recorded training from the Apostle helps local councils and leaders understand their temple and family history responsibilities. A discussion guide is provided to help leaders put the principles into practice in their communities. Target audience: Stake and ward councils, and those with temple and family history responsibilities.
March 5-7: Rootstech 2026
3-day family history conference at RootsTech.org. See RootsTech.org for registration information. Live and pre-recorded sessions will be available starting March 5th. Target audience: All members and friends.
March 7: Family Discovery Day
The apostle speaks in a broadcast celebrating the discovery of family and the eternal union of families. Watch live or on-demand at 1:30 PM MST. Audience: All members.
March 8: World Relief Society Devotional
Broadcasts to celebrate Relief Society and share testimonies. Can be used at local women’s gatherings. Further information about the resources and their availability will be shared in early 2026. Target audience: All women over the age of 18.
March 10: Caring for those in need 2025: 2025 Annual Report
The annual report, published at ChurchofJesusChrist.org, outlines how the Church has used tithing and other giving to bless the lives of individuals and families around the world. Target audience: All members and friends.
March 29th – April 5th: Palm Sunday and Holy Week
At the beginning of this Holy Week, you are invited to worship together. Sacrament meetings should focus on the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. During Holy Week, all people are encouraged to think about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and His greater love, and prepare to commemorate His Resurrection on Easter Sunday. A Holy Week study guide is available.
April 4-5: General Conference and Easter Weekend
Live coverage of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ annual conference featuring prophets, apostles, and church leaders. Live sessions on April 4th will take place at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm Mountain Daylight Time. Live sessions on April 5th will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sessions are also available on demand. Target audience: All members and friends.
May 3: Worldwide devotion for young adults
Young people around the world are invited to gather to hear counsel from Church leaders. Watch live or on demand at 6pm Mountain Summer Time. Target audience: Young people aged 18-35.
May 24th: Videos for kids
This video can be used at home or as a resource for Primary activities or Sunday lessons to help children better understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. Target audience: Primary-age children and their leaders, teachers, and parents.
June 11-12: Religious Educators Conference
The broadcast will provide guidance on how to improve your teaching to further your faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Watch live or on demand. Target audience: Religious educators, seminary and school teachers.
August: “Festival 2026: Walk with Me Music Devotional”
The festival uses sacred music to strengthen faith and testimony in Jesus Christ and foster a sense of belonging. Youth leaders can use the resources provided to create special devotions, standards nights, fifth Sunday classes, or other events. Audience: Youth and youth leaders.
August: Emphasize inviting all to embrace the gospel
All are invited to use the resources of the Church to love, share, and invite, just as the Savior did.
September 14th: Children’s Video
This video can be used at home or as a resource for Primary activities or Sunday lessons to help children better understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. Target audience: Primary-age children and their leaders, teachers, and parents.

November: “Lus de las Naciones”
A celebration of Latin culture and beliefs. Who: Spanish-speaking members and friends in the Utah area (for live participation) and around the world for digital participation.
December 6: First Presidency Christmas Devotional
The First Presidency invites general authorities and general officers to speak in this prerecorded devotional at the beginning of the Christmas season focused on the birth of Jesus Christ. Streams at 6pm Mountain Standard Time and is available on demand. Target audience: All members and friends.
December 20th: Sacrament meeting only
The First Presidency called on all wards and branches to hold a special one-hour sacrament meeting on the Sunday before Christmas focused on the birth of the Savior. Lectures and music should focus on the Savior. Everyone is welcome to visit.
