Trump added: “He entertained fans all over the world. The cultural influence he had was huge. We give our wife, sky and family the warmest and best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan is greatly overlooked.”

The commander provided inspiring memories for Hogan, an American icon and who passed away at the age of 71.
Trump first poured water with Hogan at WrestleMania IV, which was promoted to be at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City in 1988, according to the Washington Post.
A few years later, Hogan recalls: He was there early, came to the dressing room and met all the wrestlers. … They said he was sitting in the front row and I was surprised as he went out to the first match and he stayed the whole time until I wrestled. ”
Hogan was known for his professional wrestling proficiency and for his pro-American views.

Hogan retired from wrestling in 2012, but he stayed in business and recently appeared in WWE Programming in January.
However, he entered the political stage and won recent headlines for his support of Trump.
“When I came here tonight, there was so much energy in this room. I thought I was in Madison Square Garden and was preparing to win another world title,” Hogan said at the Republican Convention, according to the Washington Post. “…But all I found was that I was in a room full of Americans and siblings.”
“And like I said, I’m the giant who sprayed a body slam into the middle of the ring,” Hogan continued. “And I know tough guys, but my brother, Donald Trump, is the toughest of them all.”

Hogan certainly had a negative headline sharing in his career – and was not perfect – but his powerful testimony from his baptism, in which his wife joined him, seemed to indicate that he felt right with the Lord.
Hogan celebrated his baptism with X, saying, “(Total) Suspension and dedication to Jesus are the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hatred, no judgment… just love!”
