The California pastor said he personally witnessed the resurrection within the church as people are getting more and more close to the main.
Shane Idolman, of Westside Christian Fellowship in Leona Valley, California, said he believes that a true spiritual awakening rooted in the “sound doctrine” will help pave the way for the explosion of spiritual power seen in certain parts of America today.
“You need to have healthy doctrines,” Idlman said. “That’s your guide. That’s your foundation on which everything else is built. And when you respect that, I think God respects you in pursuit of you.”
Ultimately, he said that revival is a “spiritual resuscitation” that comes when people pursue God more closely.

“It doesn’t happen overnight,” Idolman said. “Sometimes, it was patient and it was being forced upon, and what was happening in our church began 15 years ago with the heart for a resurrection, the heart of awakening.”
He continued. “It basically God revives the freshness of the spirit. The joy comes back, they want to have a prayer encounter, and they want to worship for hours – and God is just resurrected, so you basically go from lukewarm water to the red hot thing.”
The current spiritual enthusiasm at the West Side Christian Fellowship seemed to be kick-off after he was open about his own struggles and brokenness in missionary after his sermon on March 30th.
“After that Sunday, it felt like the season of revival,” Idolman said. “No one wanted to leave much in the prayer room, the people at the altar, and I came in… the following Sunday (April 6th) and the first service was fantastic. It was electrified.”
Idleman said he took a different approach rather than preaching during the second service. Feeling spiritual strength, he led the church as it broke out into praise and worship.
“It just ignited,” he said. “Around 20 minutes later, I said, ‘Hey, if I need a prayer, I’ll go down the middle line.” ”
Idlman told the congregation he prayed for those who wanted to have “richness” and a large group of followers. He and another pastor prayed for them.

“I thought maybe a dozen or two, but there were lines on each side and people who wanted it went back for about 30 minutes,” he said. “You can’t liven up a revival. You can’t have a revival meeting. It’s not a revival. Revival is when there is a God’s sovereign act that blesses and governs the prepared people.”
Idlman argues that his church revival roots have been set for years, but that candid March 30th sermon appears to open the door to spiritual enthusiasm.
