Anne Graham Lotz, author of “Vision of His Glory Vision, Revised and Updated: Finding Hope Through the Revelation of Jesus Christ,” believes that the end of the Bible is near.

Listen to the latest episodes of “Quick Start”

“You can’t know the day or the time, but (Jesus) didn’t say you can’t know the generation,” Lotz told CBN News. “And he told us he was watching — when all this happened, we weren’t supposed to be caught in surprise.”

She continued. “He gives a lot of indications, but for me the two most thrilling signs, the most positive ones… when he says that the Gospel will be preached to the whole world and then the end will come.”

Lotz said the gospel is being preached around the world for “the first time in human history,” and many people and groups are beginning to gain access through technology and other means.

“It’s just the first time in human history that it’s covered the earth,” she said.

Lotz added that the second sign she considers thrilling is the parable of Jesus’ fig.

“() The Bible fig tree represents Israel, and… he used the fig tree to represent Israel to his disciples,” she said. “So when he said a fig tree, it came out its buds and leaves and it started to flower, I think it represents Israel.

However, Lotz said that after Jews were dispersed around the world, they returned to the land again on May 14, 1948, after the Holocaust.

Lotz ultimately believes that Christians need to know the prophetic timeline and understand its meaning.

“For myself… I think we’re at the end of that timeline,” she said.

One factor that Lotz discussed is the mental confusion that appears to be kicking, especially after the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Despite the fear, Lotz is inspired by seeing many young people discover and announce the Christian faith.

“It was so shocking when I was praying after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, (i) there were no words,” Lotz said. “It was like you were just shady, but the poem that came to mind was what Jesus said in John 12, verse 24.”

The poem states, “Very truly I say to you, unless the wheat nucleus falls to the ground and dies, it remains a single species. But when it dies, many seeds are produced.”

Lotz explained what he believes the poem is proclaiming.

“In other words, God can bring in incredible life from death and blessings from breakdown,” she said. “And I think it’s just as early as seeing Charlie Kirk’s death and grieve his wife and his children… because wheat and God allow him to fall to the ground, and from his death, he’s exploded and changed the lives of thousands of people.”

Lotz said that Kirk’s impactful life pales in comparison to the impact he is having on many people today.

“He lived to declare his faith and values and direct people towards the Lord,” she said. “And his death did that in a way… his life has gone more than ever.”

With so much going on in the culture, Lotz hopes that “Vision of His Glory” will help people navigate the book of revelation and will better identify what will happen next.

“At the end of everything, Jesus reigns,” she said. “So good things overcome evil, love overcome hate. Jesus overcomes demons.”

Lotz explains more about the end times and what people can learn from revelation.
