The 13-year-old, who attracted the nation’s attention with President Donald Trump’s joint speech to Congress earlier this month, continues his extraordinary journey of becoming as many law enforcement as possible.
Recently, Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel traveled to Arkansas, where Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders vowed him as a state trooper.

The boy was also appointed honorary chief of Arkansas Capitol Police.
“In Arkansas, we love law enforcement. In President Trump’s speech to Congress, DJ Daniel’s powerful story touched our hearts,” Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester said. “I was honored to invite him to Little Rock and become honorary director of the State Capitol Police. Thank you for inspiring us!”

As reported by CBN News, the DJ was only given six months after being diagnosed with a rare form of brain and spinal cancer in 2018, but he decided to live his dream of becoming a police officer.
“The doctor knows he’s confused about how he can be there and still around considering he’s terminally ill, but it’s your mind and gas tank, it’s your fuel, you just need to be positive and keep everything.
So far, DJs have been sworn by over 900 law enforcement agencies nationwide.
The DJ and his father have managed to love their messages of patience and their neighbors, raising awareness of childhood cancer.
On March 4th, President Donald Trump acknowledged the strength and determination of the DJ in front of members of the House and Senate.
“The DJ and his father continue their quest to make his dream come true, and DJ has actually been sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer on multiple occasions,” Trump said. “The police love him. The police department loves him.”
“And tonight, DJ, we will give you the greatest honor of all of theirs. We are asking our new Secret Service Director, Sean Curran, to make you an agent for the Secret Service in the United States,” he continued.
The DJ later told CBN News that the moment was unexpected, and he was aroused.
“I didn’t expect him to give me an actual badge for Secret Service. I’m not going to lie. My face fell all the way to the ground,” he said.
