During the week of February 9-15, President Russell M. Nelson announced the date of the open house for the reopening of Salt Lake Temple on Friday, February 14th. From friends to friends.

The new Church News video features recent interviews with Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a quorum of the 12 Apostles, and Elder Clark G. Gilbert, Church Education Commissioner and President Seventy.

The 12 Apostles and his wife, Elder Neil L. Andersen of Quorum, Quorum, of his wife, Kathy Andersen, are scheduled to speak during Rootsteck in 2025.

This week’s Church News Podcast episode featured the leading president of Susan H. Porter. sister Amy A. Wright, first counselor. sister Tracy Y. Browning, second counselor; Toronto Ontario Temple has opened for public tours after a recent renovation before re-execution in late March.

Fifteen more songs have been added to the growing catalogue of new hymns of the Latter-day Saints’ Church of Jesus Christ. Learn how to develop a welcoming environment for children with disabilities in the church.

“The current and comprehensive renovation to strengthen this sacred home for future generations is now nearing completion,” President Nelson said in a recent social media post that Salt Lake Temple was announced in April 2027. He wrote in his recent social media post after announcing it would be open to the public from month to October.

As a major class in Salt Lake City, they learned more about the ability to share the love of Jesus Christ through service.

“The whole point of service is to help us bless other people because that’s what Jesus did,” Elder Bednar told the children. “And if we are his disciples, we should be looking for opportunities to serve and celebrate others.”

“We invest in them and do everything we can to help them succeed,” Elder Christofferson said in a recent church news interview.

In his role as chairman of the board of directors of the Church Education System, Elder Christofferson regularly sees fruits born from that rising generation.

Elder Andersen and his wife, Sister Kathy Andersen, will speak during the day of the family discovery at Rootsteck 2025.

They share a personal message focused on accessing temple and family history blessings, and Elder Andersen also takes attendees on a virtual journey to his youth’s dairy farm.

Speaking at the Provo Missionary Training Center, President Johnson admitted that he might see a gap between who the missionaries are now and the disciples of Christ they work for.

“The Savior cares about the gap between my abilities and what he called me,” President Johnson said. “He knows he’s going to do the same for you.”

7. Renovated Toronto Ontario Temple opens for media, public tour

The Toronto Ontario Temple Open House was hosted by three ruling authorities in the 70s. It was held by Elder Kevin R. Duncan, executive director of the Temple Division, and Elder Matthias Robert M. Daines, counselor for the Northeastern President of North America.

President Jeffrey R. Holland, the 12 Apostle quarter president, is set up to reorganize the Lord’s House in Toronto.

8. The biggest release of New Hymnbook still includes 15 songs

The hymn translation team of the Botswana church will take photos in Gaboron, Botswana in 2023.

Fifteen new hymns were released in the third batch of released songs. This is the biggest release of the project so far.

The church has now released 37 new songs that may be sung in church meetings, at home and other settings.

Makell and Orion Burgoyne have seen firsthand how simple and thoughtful acts by others can make a huge difference in the church being a welcome place for families.
