During the week of March 23-29, President Jeffrey R. Holland, acting quorum for the 12 apostles, re-writes the Toronto-Ontario Temple, with ChurchNews reporting between the recent ministry of the Great Ministry of Apostles and the victims of the recent floods of Australia and Papua New Gearneys.

Construction began at the groundbreaking ceremony at Birmingham England Temple, with milestones for five other temples announced.

The Dutch President rededicated to Toronto Ontario Temple on Sunday morning, March 23rd. He encouraged him to engage in soul searches focused on the Savior and to live a life that reflects what is learned and promised within the temple.

2. Elder Soares testifies to Jesus Christ during his Pacific ministry

Elder Soares met at the congregation and at the homes of several members, heard their stories and provided comfort in his recent ministry to the Pacific region.

“He stretched out his warm arms at the beginning of your day,” Elder Soares emphasized that Jesus Christ is always ready to accept, support and get help. “Trust him. He understands your pain.

3. The groundbreaking landmark of the third Lord’s house in England, and the milestones of five temples from Hungary to Brazil

The ground is broken and dedicated to the construction of the third Lord’s house in England. Elder Scott D. Whiting, president of the northern region of Europe who was 70 people and hosted the Birmingham England Temple Ceremony, said the temple would “suppose as a sign of faith, peace and devotion to Jesus Christ for future generations.”

The announcements of the other five temples include the dates of the open house and the dedication of the Farmington New Mexico Temple in July and August. and groundbreaking dates for the sites of Natal Brazilian Temple, Budapest Hungarian Temple, Lagos Nigerian Temple and Benin City Nigerian Temple, which are scheduled for May and June.

4. The Church will spend $1.45 billion in 2024 on caring for people in need. Annual Summary Overview

Released Tuesday, March 25th, the 2024 summary takes care of people in need.

This year’s summary reported 3,836 humanitarian projects in 192 countries and territories, highlighting humanitarian assistance, volunteer services, welfare and independence efforts around the world.

5. New documentary follows young adults during Latter-day Saints and NAACP fellowship to Ghana

Participants in the Amos C. Brown Fellowship to Ghana will visit the Slave River, the ancestors of Assinmanso, Ghana, in January 2025. There, slaves were soaked vigorously before their long trekking into the castle on the Cape Coast.

Latter-day Saints’ Church of Jesus Christ recently released a new documentary, “Building Bridge of Face: Churches and NAACP.”

The 40-minute video, produced in collaboration with the NAACP, highlights the experiences of 24 young adults from various backgrounds who participated in the Amos C. Brown student fellowship.

President Lund and his wife, Sister Callene Lund met with a group of young men at a historic site in Missouri church in mid-March. He spoke with them about the challenges faced by young people today, encouraged hope for Christ, and focused on Zion’s construction and testimony of the keys of the priesthood.

7. The church has been awarded the Reconstruction and the Preservation Award for Ohio Historical Sites

The Joseph and Emma Smith homes were awarded the award for achievements in the reconstruction of religious landmarks. The award, which will recognize homes for enriching and preserving Kirtland’s historic and cultural heritage at the 2025 preservation celebration in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday, March 21st, was announced by the Cleveland Restoration Association and AIA Cleveland.

Young single adults at Latter-day Saints’ Church of Jesus Christ are finding more ways to serve.

The geographical boundaries of young single adult wards and branches are of different distances and are often very wide. These members are “looking for each other” through calling and group goals, improving connections – building friendship and trust – and realising each other’s needs and joy, says leaders of these wards and branches.
