Jonathan Pokluda is on a mission to help people “identify spiritual wars” and “defeat the enemy.”
Pokulda, pastor at Harrik Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, has been tackling the topic of spiritual warfare head on, recently saying, “Your Story’s Villain: Identifying Spiritual Wars and How to Defeat Your Enemies.” Learn, and aims for new books that aim to become new books. By helping people see through confusion to identify the truth.
In explaining the roots of his interest in discussing the spiritual realm, the preacher appealed to his own story cultivating Catholicism and interacting with multiple denominations.
But all of his exposure to faith did not prepare him spiritually for what was to come.
“(i) I lived a crazy college life,” Pokluda said. “They say ‘drugs, gender, rock and roll.’ In my case, it’s “drugs, gender, hip hop.” And… I’ve graduated. I was in the world. I was at the club. Someone invited me to the church. I went, wandered, sat in the back row, surrendering my life to Jesus. β
From there, Pokruda “got with Jesus,” but when he set out on his journey he realized something. Many people missed important pieces of spiritual puzzles.
In fact, some Christians were not fully aware of the answer to the infuriating, comprehensive spiritual battle between good and evil that Paul describes in Ephesians 6.
“Raising Catholicism, I saw statues of angels and demons, and I was taught in the religious class about the spiritual wars going on around me,” he said. “And I knew Genesis 3, the story of Autumn. I knew the charm of Satan in the garden of Eden.”
Pokruda continued. “But if this war had happened around us, I knew little about it, and I had no idea what would happen.”
The preacher said he was shocked to realize that many people in the Christian community seemed “comfortably unaware” of these answers. This led Pokluda to investigate in detail what the Bible actually teaches.
“It was a really three-year journey,” he says, and he eventually continued to do an educational series on topics at his church, helping others discover what he learned from the Bible. Ta.

Ultimately, Pokkurda said it was essential for Christians to understand the battle between Ephesians VI and good and evil, warning that “spiritual war affects everything we do.” I’m doing it.
“That is fundamental truth for the Christian faith,” he added.
It is the subject he hopes to help his followers explore in “Your story has a villain: Learn how to identify spiritual wars and defeat enemies.” As for why many Christians avoid such issues, Pokruda said it was clear that there is a very comfortable “Pentecostal thread” in the invisible realm.
These people are open to discussing the possession, oppression and other related issues of the devil.
“But the rest of the majority of churches just live in mystery,” he said. “And they’ll say, ‘Hey, it’s grey. There’s a lot we don’t know there.”
These people may wonder if the cases presented as possessions are merely mental illnesses. Due to the uncertainty of ramp extension regarding such issues, they refuse to speak clearly about the issue.
Pokruda said that CS Lewis, a well-known Christian author, reminded his followers of two errors that were often made regarding the “devil.”
“The first is to make a lot of them, believing they’re involved in everything,” Pokluda said. “And the second one, and equally dangerous, is not even acknowledging their presence.”
But Pokluda said there is also the third error he sees today. This was very popular today.
“The more common mistakes of this century are that we believe there is a realm of the devil and that we have a zero belief in what we do,” he said. βAnd if there is a spiritual realm of the devil, if there is actually a fight around us, I have a deep certainty that there is that, it affects everything we do. β
Pokluda said Satan’s attempt to make himself look like an “all story or parody” was not surprising. The goal is to convince people that he is not just genuine or active.
The preacher hopes that “there are villains in your story” will help people confront these realities.
“The devil’s realm that is trying to protect you from the rich life that Christ has to offer,” Pokruda said. “For those who are unbelievable, he tries to protect us from Christ’s salvation, and for believers, he will not remain in a religion that has died from a prosperous relationship with God through his son. I’m trying to do that.”
He continued. He reads the back of the book in the Apocalypse. He knows his destiny is hell. β
Pokkurda said people simply need to give their hearts to God.
