Pastor Mike Signorelli is on a mission to share the gospel with New York City, and he holds a large Easter service in the heart of New York City’s Times Square.

Thousands of people attended services and filled the popular tourist destination while Signorelli preached the gospel. It was a prayerful and inspired moment.
“I live in New York City with my family and I have two daughters, so my wife and I are just trying to be a light in the darkness,” he told CBN News on the eve of the event. “And of course New York City is turning out to be an incredibly dark place, whether it’s false religion, whether it’s witchcraft, and…politically, it’s becoming an incredibly dark place.”
Signorelli said he is praying for what can be done this Easter to stem the tide of chaos, and feels that holding a service in Times Square will be a powerful tool.

“Despite all odds, it was officially approved by the mayor’s office,” he said. “In fact, the entire city is working on this, which is also unprecedented.”
Signorelli continued, “So I think God is making a big statement. This is bigger than me, this is bigger than our church. I think this is really about Jesus Christ.”
The pastor said the Easter events took place as major cities were plunged into chaos and the battle between good and evil appeared to be “accelerating”.
“The Internet is great because it reaches billions of people with the gospel, but we also know that Satan uses it to spread lies,” Signorelli said. “And there is massive deception, what I call hellish propaganda going on. And a lot of people are succumbing to it.”
Despite these negative opinions, Signorelli said he believes God is raising up “warriors” right now to spread and advance the truth.
“We know the result. We will win, but it will not go without a fight,” he said. “That’s why I asked the City of New York for permission to hold Easter Sunday in Times Square. … I believe God divinely and supernaturally opened this door.”
Signorelli hopes Sunday’s event will have a big impact on the spectator community.
“I pray that the world will look at this and say, ‘Okay, it’s time for real restoration in America, not emotionalism and hype, it’s time for repentance and restoration and reform.'”

Signorelli said there is already a spiritual resurgence in the church, with increased interest and devotion following the death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. In fact, he saw 500 people come to the faith the first weekend. Despite these positive points, he once again urged people to be cautious.
“The devil is on the move,” he said. “He seeks to kill and steal and destroy. He is like a lion on the prowl. But there is another lion, the lion of the tribe of Judah. And he is roaring over our cities.”
