The leaders of the next new historic site have been called to serve since their first presidency. They will start service in February 2026.
Daniel Rodriguez de Almeida and Veronica Flores Rodriguez de Almeida, 11 children, Elk Hollow Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Stake: Historic grounds for the Mormon Battalion in San Diego. The Almeida brothers are home evening facilitators, former mission president counselors, stake mission presidents, high councillors, stake clarks, bishops and temple ritual workers. He was born in Artigas, Uruguay, to Nerida Silveira Rodriguez de Almeida and Hermes Rodriguez de Almeida.
Sister Almeida is a home evening facilitator, former BYU-Pathway global missionary, ward primary presidency counselor, Relief Society teacher, Institute teacher and temple ritual worker. She was born in San Salvador, El Salvador to Gloria Henriquez Flores and Manuel Flores.

Russell Lynn Elekson and Cynthia Louise Macsinski Elekson, seven children, Overland Ward, Eagle Mountain Utah Central Stake: Place of birth to Joseph Smith, succeeding President Larry Neilson and his sister Kristen Neilson. Brother Elexon is a former high councillor of the Scotland Mission, stake clarks, bishops, elder president, ward clerk and missionary. He was born in Provo, Utah to Lera, Armstrong Elexon and Jonas Henry Elexon.
Sister Elekson is a Sunday School teacher and former president of the ward and stake Riley Society, seminary teacher, and primary president of ward and stakes. She was born in Keene, New Hampshire to Virginia Heath Macsinski and Robert Lewis Macsinski.
Scott Dei Hinze and Janice Burton Hinze, five children, Manti 10th Ward, Manti Utah Stake: The Wyoming Mormon Trail site, successor President Robert Gates and sister Cynthia Gates. The Hinze brothers are Temple Sheiler, former Argentine Mission President, Mission President Counselor, Stake President, Stake President, High Councillor, Bishop, Senior President, Sunday School Teacher and Ecuador Quito Mission missionary. He was born in Roosevelt, Utah to Nadine Deihinze and Lyle Sears Hinze.
Sister Hinze is a temple ordinance worker, ward technology expert, former Argentina president of Cordoba missions, stake relief society, young women’s presidency counselor, ward Lilleem president, president of President of Ward Weed Women and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Zera Ray Christensen Burton and Lee Roy Burton.

Chad R. Wilkinson and Allison Marie Wilkinson, four children, Saratoga Springs 4th District, Saratoga Springs Utah Stake: The historic site of New York and Pennsylvania, succeeding President Thomas McCoy and sister Lani Jo McCoy. The Wilkinson brothers are 70 former regional members who are president of the Dominican Republic Mission, the Treasury Chief, Bishop, Missionary, President of the Costa Rica San Jose Mission, and members of the General Youth Advisory Committee.
Sister Wilkinson is a sister to the sisters, a former Sunday school teacher, a companion to the president of Costa Rica San Jose Mission, a Relief Society teacher, and a young female teacher.
