As Texas’ catastrophic floods have taken and counted more than 80 people, one of the most tragic parts of this tragedy is the lives of children lost in summer camps.

Breaking news. A story full of spirit. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube!

Camp Mystic, a Christian Summer Camp, has seen at least 27 lives claimed in this horrifying event. After this horrifying event wiped out friends and other campers, a group of girls who left the camp decide to give Jesus all the hymns they sing as they leave the scene with honor and praise.

“We have a Camp Mystic survivor. It’s okay to cry. It’s a traumatic experience. My life was lost,” one commentator wrote to X.

Our hearts are broken for families who have experienced such a huge loss in Texas this weekend.

Flash floods on the Guadalupe River in central Texas are now claiming the lives of at least 80 people, including many children.

Continue to pray for all families affected during this painful time and for the first responders who are part of the search and rescue process.

Rescues are still being made and the family is dealing with such a tragic situation, so they continue to lift Texas in prayer.
