Actor Kirk Cameron believes that many pastors and Christians today can learn one or two lessons from individuals such as President Donald Trump and prolific podcaster Joe Logan.

Cameron, who believes America is now “witting God’s mercy,” and “God’s grace and kindness,” as it changes the political tide, said he believes Trump is offering something.

“The political change that Trump has been elected not only supports political regions and economic sectors, but also gives wind to the sails of his parents and others who are now not afraid to speak up and say the obvious,” he said. “I don’t know his spiritual status before God. I look at him and say, ‘Oh, wow… he’s synonymous with Billy Graham or Chuck Swindall.’ ”

However, Cameron said Trump is active from a place of “courage” and is bold and ambitious about important issues.

“He has the courage and the backbone that the pastor should have said for decades,” Cameron said. “And now, he was able to do it, so it reminds me of Cyrus in the Old Testament, where God reminds me that as a shepherd of his people, someone who doesn’t even believe in him as a shepherd of God’s God.”

Cameron said he believes the pastor should look at Trump’s approach and take notes.

“All pastors said, ‘Oh, my goodness… I’m in school with a real estate businessman mogul in the field of courage and certainty about what he believes and feels, and he doesn’t even have any responsibility about this herd,” he said. “And people like Joe Rogan and others are just demonstrating the quality of the characters that Christian men across the country should own in Spade.”

Cameron continues, “I feel a rumble of courage and confidence under my feet.”

The actor preparing for you in the library is excited by “a national story hour event designed to awaken the mind, wonder and plant seeds of faith through important stories,” and encourages women’s rights activist Riley Gaines and others who work to improve culture today, encouraging others to do the same.

“This is a window into the opportunity for the family of faith to step up and respond to God’s kindness and his mercy,” he said.

The author and actor also discussed his new project, “The Kirk Cameron Show,” a YouTube program that he hosts and produces with his children.

“The gloves are off at Kirk Cameron’s show,” he said. “It’s not filtered. I can talk about the Didi Trial. I can talk about Elon Musk and him and Trump, the bombing of Iran, and everything in between.”

The show, which airs new episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, also includes morning prayers over coffee, the Bible, and conversations with her 22-year-old son on topics ranging from purity to mental health.

Regarding Cameron’s reference at the library event unfolds on August 16, the actor said he hopes story time will unfold in all 50 states.

“It’s more than just reading books,” Cameron said. “The other side is moving values ​​every day and moves the needle, so it’s a chance for parents to regain culture in the public square. And if we don’t lean in, we don’t show up and stand up to our values, we won’t have the freedom to live for them later.”
