As Texas law mandating the display of 10 public school commandments faces an uncertain future, viral podcaster Joe Logan calls it a “problem” to provide guidance.
Conversation (Content Warning: There is a Strong Language in Video) appeared on the September 16th episode of Logan’s podcast. There we spoke with Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, who insisted on the 10 commandments found in Exodus 20.
“Is there anyone who has a better proposal than the 10 commandments to move a child?

“I mean, I see young people and adults spinning, man, I don’t understand the general expectations between us,” McConaughey continued. “What does it mean to be able to choose your pocket and steal from you? If I escaped with it, then (exp.) You, I am not ashamed of it. I feel no guilty.”
However, Logan offered a different perspective.
Famous podcast hosts are primarily first, second and third (Exodus 20:3-6, NIV), and have problems with several commandments.
You must not have any other gods before me. You must not create yourself an image of the shape of what is on the ocean above or below the earth or below. You should not bow or worship them. I will punish my children for the sins of my parents, in order to show love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Ultimately, he argued that placing ten commandments in public schools in Lone Star State could be a slippery slope leading to the implementation of Sharia Act.
“The Problems of Ten Commandments – When I place it in a school where people are not religious, there are many things, such as “I have not wasted the Lord’s name,” “I have not had any other gods before me,” and so on,” Logan said.
He went on to say people would “do it all the time.”
McConaughey, on his part, compared it to laws against the burning of flags.
“At a national level, the flag (the president) raised by Trump is similar,” he said. “It’s like taking the Lord’s name in vain. Burning the flag is like wasting the name of the flag.”
“Yes, imagine you’ll be arrested for wasting the Lord’s name,” replied Logan. “That’s a real problem, especially if you mean nothing by it… humans always creep up. They always move towards more and more forces and control, and now what are you going to do? Are you going to enforce Christian law?
It should be noted that Logan brought ten commandments to public schools in Texas law, but praised the Biblical Doctrine era as “pretty legal.”
“Is there anything I can’t hold up today?” he asked rhetorically. “No, I think they’re pretty legal.”
Logan said, “If you think about it, they’re pretty legal, they’re two thousand years ago. They nailed it.”
McConaughey proposed to blend doctrines from several religions, came up with ten moral commandments, and proposed living as a society.
Logan called the idea “interesting,” but “the problem is that most religions are ideologically opposed to contradictory religions. They don’t want to accept that these other religions are just about anything.
“I think there may be a little bit of a constitution. If I pull out the authors, I think we will be able to find similarities that are not exclusive in the future.
