As the Israeli-Iran conflict deepens, and as the ghosts of our involvement looms, all eyes are on President Donald Trump.

There is a tug of war (even within the magazine) about whether the US should be involved in dismantling Iran’s nuclear programme, which is a tough international test for Trump’s second term so far.

Tehran is primarily resistant to dealings on the issue, particularly when it comes to closing its uranium enrichment programme, promoting speculation that military action could be its sole request.

The president’s claim that Iran cannot access nuclear weapons under any circumstances has brought a bit of a gap in political rights, arguing both sides of the issue.

Therefore, Trump, who was primarily resistant to leading the US into military conflicts, has become a very important figure in this Middle Eastern conflict despite the fact that America has repeatedly entered into the fight.

And Trump’s deputy commander had to set a record straight on some issues as the president was further scrutinized.

Vice President JD Vance won the X on Tuesday for his passionate defense against Trump’s character and stance on issues. It also provided a firm reminder that “the decision will ultimately belong.”

“Look, I’m watching this from within and obviously biased towards the president (and my friend), but there’s a lot of crazy stuff on social media so I wanted to work on some of the issues directly on Iran,” Vance began.

“First of all, Potus is surprisingly consistent, meaning Iran has not been able to have nuclear weapons for over a decade,” Vance continued. “Over the past few months, he has encouraged his foreign policy team to sign contracts with Iranians to achieve this goal. The president has made it clear that Iran does not have uranium enrichment.

See, I’m watching this from within and certainly biased towards the president (and my friend), but there’s a lot of crazy stuff on social media, so I wanted to address the issue of Iran directly.

“And he repeatedly said this is one of two ways: a simple method or a “other” method.

“Secondly, we have seen a lot of confusion about the issue of ‘private nuclear power’ and ‘uranium enrichment’.

“These are clear issues. Iran could have private nuclear power without enrichment, but Iran refused. Meanwhile, they enriched uranium well above the level required for private purposes.

The Vice President added: “On the other hand, the President has shown significant restraint in the military’s continued focus on protecting the military and protecting civilians.”

Vance then explained that Iran simply cannot see the rightful reason for enriching its uranium to this level.

He can’t see why, so he believes Trump’s actions, whatever they are ultimately, is completely justified.

“(Trump) may decide that more action is needed to end Iran’s enrichment,” Vance said. “That decision ultimately belongs to the president, and of course, people are right to worry about foreign entanglements after the last 25 years of ridiculous foreign policy.

“But I think the President has gained some degree of trust in this issue.

“And since we’ve seen this up close, we can assure him that he’s only interested in using the US military to achieve American goals.

“Whatever he does, that’s his focus.”
