Referring to St. Marakhi’s 12th century work, Stone explains that ancient prophecies predict the final pope, called the “Romans,” who shepherd the church in times of hardship before the destruction of Rome. But Stone reveals that our ultimate source of truth must remain the Bible.

In Revelation 13, John explains two beasts. The Antichrist, rising from the sea, another beast – known as the false prophet – comes out of the earth. This second person looks like a lamb, symbolizing a form of deceptive religious leadership, but speaks like a dragon and reveals his true nature. Stone explains that this false prophet plays an important role in creating miracles, deceiving many, and establishing a global system that is tied to the mark of the beast.
Stone warns that the upcoming religious figures could try to unite Islam and apostasy Christianity. Given that both Islamic and Catholic traditions are highly respectful of Mary, Stone points out that using this common ground we can blend two major world religions. He explains that false prophets need to deny that Jesus is the Son of God in order to achieve such unity.

“This false prophet creates a supernatural miracle. He is given the authority to call fire from heaven. He creates an image of the beast, speaks and lives, and, whether he believes it or not, will help him to enact a universal economic system of the beast’s mark,” says Stone.
Stone refrains from making decisive predictions without clear words from the Holy Spirit, but he encourages believers to remain vigilant. He emphasizes that if a future pope rejects basic Christian doctrines like the birth of a virgin or the God of Christ, it could indicate major prophetic fulfillment.
As days go dark and deceptions increase, it echoes urgently more than ever, in search of hard endurance in Christ. Simply observing the signs is not enough. We must secure ourselves in words, walk in unshakable faith, filled with the Holy Spirit.
