CBN is a conduit of the miraculous things, sharing incredible stories for decades. And now Abigail Robertson is on the mission to build this legacy with her new podcast, “Meet Heaven and Earth.”
It is a project she hosts with Ryan Bethea, and the duo is working on “answering the miracles and prayers of reality.” Robertson recently told Billy Hallowell and Jen Lilly on the Into the Supernatural podcast that the new show is “the most exciting and truly blessed thing” she’s taking part in.
It is a project filled with stories about God’s supernatural intervention in human issues, and Robertson shares how her own spiritual journey has prepared her for the show.
Looking back at her story, she said she experienced something deeper when she started on CBN 10 years ago: Hearing the voice of God.
“I began to recognize the stillness, the little voice of the Holy Spirit, and truly led by the Holy Spirit and began to live my life with constant communication with the Lord,” she said. “My life has changed radically. …I have just begun to surrender everything to the Lord, and I have started working every day to live a life that has completely surrendered to him, and I want to completely change my plans that God felt like he would guide me that day, that week, anything.
Over time, she said those little “yes” became bigger and went through a “spiritual transformation process.”
“I was passionate about helping everyone discover the Holy Spirit,” Robertson said. “I have been a Christian forever and I couldn’t believe only in this new part of this faith that I suddenly lived and awakened.
Robertson realized that she had a strong hunger to get to know the Lord better, so she began reading books about hearing and translating the voice of God in her life.
She continues this journey on “An Earth Meets Heaven” and brings in a variety of guests from various industries to hear how God has appeared in their lives. She hopes that sometimes wild miracle stories will encourage people to take a deeper look at their relationship with the Lord.
“It’s so cool to hear these things and say to the listener, ‘Okay, how can I invite you to my situation, to my workplace, to where he called me?’ ” Robertson said.
And while she truly believes in God’s healing power, Robertson also tackles the difficult moments that unfold when healing and miracles do not come true.
“(Sometimes) we don’t understand… But I continue to pray that even in these trials, even in pain, even hard-working people, we will see God’s good in the earth where we live,” she said. “There is no rhyme or reason… who is healed, who is healed, but I will never stop anyone from believing that God is an impossible God.”
Robertson continues, “And I pray for a complete miracle and will never stop believing.”
And this is her attitude of interacting with the Lord, and she fully believes in dreams, visions and other prayer communication. In fact, Robertson said that God often speaks to her through vision.
