Dylan Novak has a mission to help save the souls of celebrities and deliberately brings the gospel to some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Novak, the founder of Celebrity Evangelist, regularly attends signing signatures and other events to present a message of salvation to well-known performers. Most recently, he made the headline for his 2023 interaction with singer Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22nd after his battle with Parkinson’s disease.

The evangelist took part in an event with the family in Osborne near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during which he presented a personalized Bible to a former Black Sabbath frontman.

Many people reflect this interaction in the wake of Osborne’s death.

“Ozzy was incredibly kind,” Novak said, recalling the experience. “So I stood up to him, waved his hand and said it was an honor to see him. After a small introduction, I said, “The reason I came to see you today is because I love and care for you and your soul.” ”

Novak, who comes to such events, prepared after studying the spiritual lives of each celebrity, said he had seen in previous interviews saying that the singer “identifies him as Christian more than anything else,” and that he could read the Bible more frequently.

There, Novak told Osborne that he had a new, living translated Bible that was easy to read for him, and the singer was more likely to accept it.

“He grabbed it immediately and went straight to the Gospels. “And he looked up at me and said, ‘Well, I can understand this.’ ”

He continued.

Novac also wrote a handwritten letter to Osborne. He does it on a daily basis with celebrities to respect the time and convey the perfect gospel message he wants to give.

“I want you to feel like, ‘I’m considered an individual soul, I’m loved and I care on a personal level,'” Novak said of why you write these personal letters.

When it came to Osborne, he followed this same pattern and told the singer why he wrote a note.

“I don’t want to be rude and you know you don’t have time. I said I wanted to say everything about this letter,” Novak said, and he said Osborne Jesus loved him and “He’s the answer.”

The two spoke a little more, then Novak said he went to an adjacent room where he shared the gospel with the rest of the Osborne family. Osborne’s son Jack spoke with Novak for about 30 minutes, and the two discussed their father.

“One of the things he said was, ‘Don’t think of Dad’s evil,'” Novak said, explaining that he had taken a photo with his family before the meeting was over.

However, two weeks later, Novak meets Jack at another event. There he learned the complete influence that his kind gesture had on the singer. Jack noticed Novak and walked over to chat with him.

“He said, ‘You gave your dad the Bible, right?” Novak said. “I said, ‘Yeah, it was me,’ he said, ‘Can I tell you – I don’t know how much you love it.’

Jack reportedly told Novak that Osborne was deeply moved by the Bible. So when he arrived at the elevator for the day the singer signed to head to bed, he asked for the Bible.

When he found out it was trapped in a suite along with other materials, he asked someone to get it back. Initially, the family said they could get it the next day, but he insisted.

“(Jack) said, ‘Daddy’s going.’ I want it tonight. It’s not going up until I get the Bible,” Novak said. “So they went back downstairs, unleashed the entire floor, went to a room with Ozzy’s, grabbed the Bible, and brought it back to him.”

And the story didn’t end there as Osborn reportedly returned to the downstairs a second time to receive Novak’s letter. Beyond that, Jack shared that although he did not frequently hold many of the gifts his father received, the Bible was different.

“That Bible and your gift – it was his nightstand, and he showed them his Bible and showed them that his name was there and that it was a place where he could understand it,” he said. “He said, ‘Oh, look, someone brought me the Bible’ by no means. It’s like, “I’m honored to have received this gift.” ”

Novak said his eyes were filled with tears when he heard the news. Jack then thanked Novak for his kindness towards his father and his family.

“Jack said, “I can’t thank you enough for loving and caring for me and my family. That really meant a lot,” he said.

Novak did not talk to Osborn again, but it is unclear what the singer believed at the time of his death. But Novak’s actions – providing the Bible and sharing the Gospel – ensured that he had heard the truth of the Bible.

Ultimately, Novak hopes that celebrity evangelists will provide others in Hollywood with the opportunity to hear about Jesus, and he has a plan to continue sharing the gospel throughout Tinseltown. For more information, please click here.
