Vanessa Joy Rancellotti was preparing for a newlywed, preparing to move her life when something unthinkable happened.
“I had an arterial malformation in my brain that had ruptured…and that was something I didn’t know I had anything to actually develop… in the uterus before birth…” Lancelotti told CBN News. “And so, when I was drinking tea with my two sisters, Amanda and Melissa, it burst out of nowhere.”

The sisters were having a good time as Ranchelotti began experiencing sharp pains in the back of their head.
Lancelotti, who tells her story in her new book, says, “Miracles really happen!: Jesus makes everything new,” she says, “Really scary,” and that her sisters were in a hurry to take her to the hospital.
Watch her tell the story:
“I felt wet (like my head),” she said. “I felt it burst. I felt bleeding.”
Lancelotti said she knows what she is going through is serious and “life-threatening” and that the death might be upon her.
“I began preparing to meet Jesus because I really felt and believed, ‘OK, this is it.’ “And so, I began to repent of the best way I could do something like the history of my life.”
She continued to repent on her way to the hospital, and was completely ready to die.
By the time she reached the hospital, she was unable to function. The hospital was not in the capacity to deal with the situation, so they prepared to transport her to another facility and loaded her into an ambulance.
“I was preparing to die,” Lancelotti said. “I didn’t pray like, ‘Oh, Lord, let me heal.’ Because I knew this was happening soon.
Suddenly, while in the ambulance, she was swept away to a “new place” and felt like all the pain and fear had been dissipated.
“I had no memories of the past,” she said. “It was like sin never existed, pain never existed. There was no physical, mental or emotional pain. It was all gone and quickly wiped away. I was before the Lord.
Lancelotti said it’s difficult to put the experience into words. Overtaken by peace, she suddenly said she was with Jesus.
“I met Jesus as if he was standing before me and he was just wonderful,” she said. “He wore a gorgeous white robe with this bright blue sash around him, and I remember feeling like this little girl.
Lancelotti continued, “And I remember Jesus – he held me, I was so loved. I was taken completely from the trauma, and I was in his arms, as if I was in his presence. He held me with his wide open arm, I was so loved, I was so apologised, I had all my fears gone, and I knew I had been protected.”
And she said that the Lord had given a message that he would never forget.
“He told me, ‘That’s not your time yet.'” she said. “I either went back to the ambulance or went back to the hospital.”
Most notable is the fact that her heart never stopped. However, she does not believe that this experience is merely a dream or a vision.
“I was literally in a new place,” Lancelotti said. “I believe I was in paradise. I was in heaven with him.”
The interaction has changed her life deeply.
“Immediately after I met Christ, my family was around me, my mother, she said, ‘You have such a glow around you’ and I had such a joy despite what happened and what we were experiencing. ”

The joy continued, even as she was ready for surgery. Suddenly, her spiritual perception was completely illuminated, and Rancellotti focused on Jesus’ imminent return and her care.
“He loves me,” she said. “He saved me.”
She then began attending revivals and learned more about the Holy Spirit. Over time, she said her faith became much stronger.
“Up to that point… I knew I had a strong knowledge and understanding of the gospel,” she said. “I had a relationship with Christ, but up to that point I didn’t know much about the power of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and how they work within us as believers.”
Now, Rancelotti uses her book “Miracles do eally doven!: Jesus is renewing everything” to share her story to help build the faith of others.
