During this Holy Week, Christians around the world remember the crucifixion of God’s only born son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And on Easter Sunday we celebrated his glorious resurrection, as Christians have done for nearly two thousand years, “He is rising!”
Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we have seen God’s infinite love and devotion to all humanity. And at that moment of his resurrection, history changed forever with the promise of eternal life.
As we approach this delightful Easter Sunday, we wish Christians a happy and extremely blessed holiday everywhere. America is a country of followers. We need God, want God, and with His help we will make our nation stronger, safer, more prosperous and more united than ever before. Thank you, and Happy Easter!
The White House also issued an official statement that the president said he and the First Lady are now participating in prayer with Christians around the world.

This Holy Week Melania and I will be taking part in Christians and prayers celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It begins with Christ’s victory over Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, beginning with the Mass of the Lord’s Eve Up on Holy Thursday, beginning on Good Friday, reaching its peak at Easter Vigill on Holy Saturday night. This week is the time for reflection to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion and prepare their hearts, hearts and souls for his miraculous resurrection.
The White House officially said it is essential that Jesus remember the sacrifices he made on the cross to celebrate his resurrection in full.
During this sacred week we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifices that Jesus Christ made on the cross. In his final hours on earth, Christ willingly endured the unbearable pain, torture and execution on the cross, from his deep and enduring love for all his creations. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through his death, we are forgiven for our sins. Through His Resurrection, we hope for eternal life. On the Easter morning, the stones tumble down, the tombs emptied, and light spread across the darkness.
This Holy Week, my administration will renew its promise to protect Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals and government halls. We will never be shaken to protect our right to religious freedom, to protect our dignity in life, to protect God in the public square.
When we focus on Christ’s redemption sacrifice, we turn to His love, humility, and obedience. Even in the most difficult and uncertain moments of life, this week we pray for the pouring of the Holy Spirit on our beloved kingdom. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope and freedom throughout the world, and to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in heaven.
May God bless you and your family during this special time and he continues to bless the United States of America.
The statement is in stark contrast to the Biden administration, which last year chose Easter to celebrate the transgender community. Let us thank the Lord for the continued recovery of Christianity under this new presidential administration.
