“Has World War II started?” That’s the question raised in a recent video from Ray Comfort’s Living Waters Ministry. This is an enchanting curiosity to see how the whole planet holds its breath and the escalating battle between Israel and Iran unfolds.
“That’s a question,” Comfort told World War I reference CBN News. “It’s not a statement. I’m pleased that it’s not a statement. If so, we probably won’t be here because there is so much volatility and so many countries are upset.”
But the evangelists whose ministry offers a new book “unstable” at will emphasize that many people are looking firsthand to help people understand prophecies.
Christians naturally question potential biblical and prophetic meanings. Mixing international uncertainty on American streets with chaos and violent protests, there is a lot of comfort called “lawlessness.”
“That’s one of the signs. According to the Bible, at the end of age, there will be a lot of inequality or a lot of lawlessness, and that’s what we’re seeing,” he said. “All the world, the nations opposed to the states, the kingdoms against the kingdoms are outlaws across the nations opposed to the kingdom.”
The comfort continued. “We live in an unstable period. If it weren’t the beginning of World War III, we’re certainly lit up this dynamite fuse sitting there.”
Despite the severity of these issues, comfort said his biggest concern is that the church does not see the “urgency” embedded in these dangerous times.

“If we want to speed up Christ, let the Bible say what we need to do. We go all over the world and preach the gospel,” he said. “We have a moral obligation to take this gospel to this dying world.”
Comfort encouraged people to have faith in the Bible. He said he was offering prophecies about what is to come, particularly citing Ezekiel 38-39. These chapters discuss future invasions of the state’s union into Israel. This is a group that includes Persia, a modern Iranian.
It is unclear when the Gog battle from Magog will occur, but the current crisis between Israel and Iran clearly causes a conspiracy for the main players. He said comfort is important that countries like Iran, that are hated for Jews, never get nuclear weapons.
“I don’t know what the future entails,” he said. “But the Bible tells us the future thousands of years before it passes. It means that the Bible is inspired by God, as only God knows the future.”
Regardless of the uncertainty surrounding the current events, comfort encouraged Christians not to disrupt the peace that was given by chaos.
“The Bible says that you will maintain him in perfect peace where your heart remains with you,” he explained. “And I love the story of Jesus sleeping in a storm. It was just a small boat, a huge storm, and the disciples were sure they would die. What is Jesus doing?”
The comfort continued. “That’s what faith does. It sleeps in the storm. And we continue to maintain our hearts in him, so we can have perfect peace.”
