A few weeks after a broken back and writing two chart-top songs during his recovery, Christian artist Forest Frank did it again while fellow singer David Clauder was recovering from his own injuries.

The 53-year-old Crowder told fans last week he had to undergo “emergency surgery” after breaking his leg, forcing him to cancel some scheduled performances. News of the injury came to Frank, 30, on the heels and revealed that he had experienced the miraculous healing of a fracture to his vertebrae.

The “God’s Got My Back” singer-songwriter noticed that Crowder was tagged with him in his post about his broken legs. He jokingly replied, “Apparently I’m a broken bone. …Not a cliché, but God always turns lemons into lemonade.

“When I’m looking at this post, I think you might not be able to stand out from your bed,” Frank said, “but you can stand on the rock of Jesus Christ.”

The pop star told Clauder that he had started singing, invited him to be a part of it, and invited him to let him know if there were any ideas or “fine tweaks” in anything he’d ever recorded.

The lyrics are as follows: “I have faith in Jesus / I have faith in God / All the other ground sinks sand / I am standing on a rock / I am standing on a rock, rock, rock, rock.”

He asks Clauder what he thinks about the songs so far, and says, “It’s just the beginning, so I edit, add, change the elements.

In early August, Frank shared with 4.6 million Instagram followers, miraculously healed a back injury. He slid down his skateboard and supported him after slamming his back on the edge of a concrete sidewalk.

Frank recorded two songs while he was bedridden, including “God’s Got My Back” and “Lemonade.”

Frank said that when he said he was “sure,” God could quickly heal his broken vertebrae, but that he delayed it because the Lord wanted to release these two songs to the recording artists and share his testimony for millions of fans to witness.

As for Crowder, fellow Christian artists and organizations have been rooting for him.

“Injuries aren’t the trend that turns into epic collaborations, but (actually) they need the trends we need,” he wrote a GMA Dove Awards account in response to Crowder’s Frank song.

“Oddly, I had a cramp coming out of bed this morning,” joked Bert Millard. “I need to write a banger right now!!!”

Naturally, the song has already attracted Crowder’s attention, and he added his own music and lyrics. So it seems that collaboration is definitely happening.

“Forest Frank, I needed it,” Crowder said. “That’s why I’ve been working. Look at what you think!”

His lyrics: “I stand on the only person who can save my soul / Anchor in the storm / His promises will never fail / The gates of hell will never win / The impossible is he is doing / The rain has fallen / The rain has fallen, but God’s plan / The devil has tried to attack me / I laughed at it / I will maintain that strong chain.”

Continue praying for Crowder’s recovery.
