A prayer for God to make you in those who want you to

Bible Reading:
“Don’t let anything through selfish ambitions and conceits. But in low spirits, each one will respect others better than himself. Each of you should be careful not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:3-4 nkjv

According to Healthline, the average person has 6,000 thoughts per day. It will be interesting to know how many of those ideas are about ourselves. Many of us want our timeline, a certain amount of compensation for our times, and our way of doing things. But this is the exact opposite of how Jesus lived.
Luke 2:41-42 tells us that Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem every year at Passover. And when Jesus was 12 years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the customs of the East Feast. When they returned to the house of Nazareth, they realized they had no idea where Jesus was. They turned around and returned to Jerusalem to find him. When they found him he sat among the teacher asking questions. Luke 2:48 said, “When their parents saw him, they were surprised. His mother said to him, “Son, why did you treat us like this? Your Father and I are looking for you with concern.” Jesus replied, “Why did you look for me? Did you not know that I had to be about my father’s business?”
Later in Jesus’ ministry he said, “I came down from heaven, and not my will, but his will that sent me” (John 6:38). Jesus was totally God and totally man. He had full authority, but he surrendered himself to his father.
Philippians 2:5-11 states: “We have the same way of thinking as Christ Jesus in our relationships. God did not consider God to be the one who uses equality with him for his benefit.
Therefore, God praised him in the highest place, and gave him the name that, under the name of Jesus, all knees should succumb to heaven and earth, and under the world, and all tongues would be Lord of Jesus Christ and acknowledged the glory of God the Father. ”
Let’s pray:
Thank you for your dear Heavenly Father, Jesus’ example and for sending him to earth to save and teach us how to live. Lord, allow us to think only about ourselves and our desires. Help us submit our will, thoughts, actions and lives to you.
Lord, your way is higher, more important, better. Help us to trust you when we want to do our own thing and wrestletter with you about the people who pilot the ships of our lives. God, you can see what we cannot. You know what battles and victory will be ahead. You know our strengths and limitations. And you know how to make us to those who can use us in you and your glory.
Lord, we tend to wander and forget your faithfulness, your character and love for us. Help us lean against you know that you are everything we need in every situation. Thank you for your ampleness and immutability. we love you. Amen
