Prayer for a new start

Bible Reading:
“For the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassion will never fail. They are new every morning. Your faithfulness is wonderful.” – Lament 3:22-23
Listen or read:
There are many days when you want to throw in a towel and give up on that day. Whether you do this for work assignments, difficult conversations with friends or repair damaged relationships with your spouse, sometimes waiting for a fresh start can actually help us. If we try to overdo it at once, we start to burn out.
One is to help you refresh yourself in the morning by taking time from your computer and getting good night sleep if you are facing difficult challenges at work. Sadly, most of us give empowerment to finish our assignment. This will prevent you from submitting the best work. Rather than trying to power-through, you should prioritize rest and choose to start fresh in the morning.
Secondly, if you are avoiding difficult conversations with friends, you don’t have to try to “push” either. Words say in the heat of the moment can cause hurtful emotions and tears. Perhaps you’re already tired after a long day. You are more likely to say things you will regret later because you are tired. If you try to have a conversation when you’re tired or frustrated, it’s probably going to fall into argument.
Similarly, if you are trying to repair a damaged relationship with your spouse, you don’t have to try and cruise through a difficult conversation when you are drained, tired or groaned. After rest, everyone thinks more clearly. If we try to go ahead and start repairing relationships when we are not in the best mental framework, it can cause more wounds. This is why it is important to take advantage of the new start we are given each day. Every morning, God gives us a new day with a beautiful slate. A resting mind and mind will help you say what you need to say, overcome any problems and present your best work.
The Bible says, “Because of the great love of the Lord, we are not consumed, His compassion will not fail. They are new every morning. Your faithfulness is great” (Lament 3:22-23) God’s compassion will never fail because it is new every morning. His love surrounds us, and we are blessed with new days. Yesterday’s events can pass and we can face new days with a heart of hope. Remember God’s love and compassion when you need a new start. Tomorrow morning is a new start day. There’s no need to fear or worry about what will happen because God is with you. Remember that if the sun is too dark or the night is too long, light will come in the morning. And this light is God. May we all rest in the dignity of His faithfulness.
Let’s pray:
Dear God, I come to you today and look for a new start. I praise each morning for being a blessing. I can start a new way for you and your compassion. Make the most of your daily life and help you make the right decisions. Prevents decisions and initiating detailed conversations while you’re tired or overwhelmed. Thank you, God for your love, goodness, and faithfulness. Your Son’s name, Jesus, I pray, Amen.
