President Donald Trump(Photo: YouTube/Lex Fridman)

From Land Rover’s defender to combustion engines, pharmaceutical chemicals to insurance services, the United Kingdom exports billions of products equivalent to the United States each year as the largest export partner that exports to the United States. But it may be a hit.

President Trump has been handing 25 % of tariffs in Mexico and Canada’s closest trade partner, but these are 30 days behind. However, 10 % of tariffs on Chinese products will be introduced immediately. And, of course, China has retalted on. President Trump then threatened the EU, saying that Britain has been “off the line” in some way, but still can solve the transaction.

This news is not a shock. Trump simply matches his first administration (he spent tariffs on Chinese products) and his threat in the election campaign. However, this is evidence that he is muscular and is completely satisfied with being unpleasant to friends and enemies.

Canadian President Trudeau responded immediately to his threat. That may seem like Trump has temporarily retreated.

One writer of the Times is labeled as economic equivalent to hovering his finger over a nuclear button. The Wall Street Journal has named the trade war “a fool in history.”

Economist calls this a protectionist approach to trade. Hope is to tax on foreign products, which will be more expensive than US products, boost the US industry, and reduce the huge dependence on other countries, especially China. The United States is also working on a trade deficit with countries that import more products than exports.

But critics say this simply makes everything more expensive for ordinary Americans. As foreign product prices rise, American products have less competition from overseas, so there is little pressure to keep prices low. In addition, we can make several products in the United States, but we do not recognize the complexity of the modern world economy with components shipped from other places.

The Canadians responded, but the British government seems to be in a hurry to soak Donald Trump and avoid tariffs on British products. They need an economic and good news story, given the lack of business confidence and the lack of ST sound growth. The British export product is papered to the largest trade partner, and the resulting sales reduction will be a bit useless.

In many ways, this is simply that Trump is a playing card. I talk on the world stage, perform harsh acting, undertake rivals, and worry about old friends.

Naturally, or accidentally, this is another help in the world confusion suffering from recession, war, and discord. The friendship of the United States as a trade partner and a military allies seems to be obviously assumed. There is almost no remaining certainty.

Is there a more and more isolated protected American after denying the basic reality? The world is tied up with much more complexity than ever before. Economic, political, cultural, military.

The nation cannot attack on its own. Last year, I participated in NATO, even historically neutral, like Finland and Sweden. COVID PANDEMIC also reminded me of this. We all are complexly connected.

The temptation to withdraw is in other aspects of world politics. International assistance is a good example. Is the responsibility that the isolatedist may ask in another continent country? Or climate change. Why should we be hit to reduce emissions as other economies overtake our pollution levels several decades ago?

The temptation to withdraw is also for us as a Christian. Until Jesus returns, should we stick in a comfortable friend and sit well? Well, no, we are blessing and are saved to turn others to Christ. Gospel is not only for the intellectual consent of Christ, but also for religious behavior. We are tied to our love for our neighbors, regardless of whether they want it. Christians must be the most deeply permeated community and nearby life.

On the weekend, X had an attractive sput between the new US Vice President JD Vance and the former Conservative Minister of the Conservative Party (and my former Neighbor MP), Rory Stewart. Other places in the world.

Of course, we are the deepest affection and responsibility to the closest people. However, I feel that VP VANCE has played the role of a legal expert in an excellent Samarian parable.

But loving your neighbors means more than you love them. It is an attitude and posture. It is aware of all the dignity and value of all people before we want to treat them as threats, dangers, or less than humans, as a wonderful being created in the image of God. It means. Also, as a government, church, and individuals, we guarantee that our actions do not cause aggressive harm to others.

Therefore, let’s oppose the era when the world leader is choosing to be isolated and withdrawn.

Tim Fallon has been a member of the West Morand and Lonsdale Congress since 2005 and has been the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party from 2015 to 2017. And we recommend that you be involved in prayers around British. He is the author of Mackey’s business. Why Christians should be involved in politics?
