“Dave is cancer-free!”
It was shared this week by passionate message actress Candice Cameron Bulle, who was shared on social media this week, months after “Full House” co-star Dave Courier revealed a stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis.
“Participate this amazing news to celebrate,” Bure wrote. “Let him shower all the love in the world!”
A 65-year-old Coulier representative confirmed to People Magazine that the actor was cancer-free.
Coulier also told Parade magazine before he recently received a lymph node biopsy on his neck that he is no longer ill.
“(My wife) Melissa and I waited a week to get the results of my biopsy back, and there are no signs of cancer,” he told the outlet, saying at the time he was still waiting for other results. “Zero” is one of the few times in my life that I have quite a few to hear. ”
As CBN News previously stated, Coulier, known for portraying her beloved character Joey Gladstone (aka “Uncle Joey”), learned of the diagnosis in October after suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection.
2016 – The comedian, who recreated his role in “Fuller House,” which aired on Netflix in 2020, told people how he found out about the shocking diagnosis.
Swelling of the lymph nodes caused concern, and doctors ordered PET and CT scans to reveal the cancer. Coulier said he has a rare B-cell lymphoma type – a “very aggressive” form.
“I went from ‘I felt a little cold’ to ‘I have cancer’ and it was pretty overwhelming,” he told people at the time. “This is a really fast roller coaster ride of the journey.”

Courier also spoke candidly with people about how he reacted and why he was so calm.
“When I first got the news, I wasn’t expecting it, so I was surprised, so reality was calm and whatever the outcome was, it was very calm,” he told the outlet. “I don’t know how to explain that, but there was something inside calm about everything.”
Courier, who lost his mother, sister, Nice to cancer and now has sisters experiencing cancer with him, said this history is likely part of the peace he feels.
“They really instilled it in me and inspired me because they’re amazing going through what they’ve been going through. “I’ve lived an incredible life on my journey with the incredible people around me. I’m fine. It certainly changes perspective.”
As CBN News previously reported, fellow “Full House” star Bob Saggett passed away in 2022, mourning the courier and the entire cast. Later that year, Courier joined CBN News to discuss his journey of faith, his past struggle with alcoholism, and Saguette’s death.
“I have always equated my faith with the fire that is burning within you, and I have almost put out that fire because of abuse with alcohol,” he said.
The Courier settled before some of the most important losses of his life. His brother took his own life, he lost his father, and Sadgett died in 12 months.
He called these deaths “hat tricks of loss” and collective “heart punches.” However, the Courier was grateful that he was able to handle everything that unfolded while he was finally settled.
“The only thing I can think of is, “I’m grateful that in my life I’m extinguishing that fire, that I don’t have the alcohol that is my faith,” he said. “And I was able to feel those raw emotions. I wouldn’t have felt them if I had abused alcohol. And I was in contact with myself spiritually.”
Coulier continued. “So, for me, it allowed that flame to reignite and find my spirituality.
Pray for the Courier as he continues his healing journey.
