The driving test of a teenager is a spiral when Burly Bank Robber hijacks her car and causes a comedy tracking scene. This is the way to start a short film “Student accomplice” created by BYU animation students.

Awards that have been awarded are one proof of how BYU animation students have combined technical skills, artistic visions, and the religion of fascinating stories.

Since Byu Center for Animation was established in 2010, students have won the 22 Student Emmy Awards and four music and seven student Academy Awards. “Student accomplice” won a bronze medal at the 2024 Student Academy Awards.

The focus of this program is to provide students with both technical skills and spiritual tools. Kelly Luri, a co -author of the program, is seeking the help of heaven for most of the success of the program.

“They use prayer and spirit as much as possible,” said Ruri. “In my opinion, there is no other way that we can have competitiveness without his help.”

Regarding the creation of films that have won awards, they are out of top schools. LOOSLI does not believe that the heavenly father cares about BYU’s animation, but he believes that the heavenly father cares about these students.

“He is concerned that these students can develop their talents, support their families, to be emotionally rewarded, and pursue their beloved,” Losli said. “And I think it’s important for the heavenly father, and I think he is blessing us for that.”

LOOSLI challenges students to do a spiritual work that brings the blessings of the heavenly father’s promise.

“I just say,” Hey, if this is important for you, it’s important for him, and you keep him in mind, “Rousri said. “And we emphasize,” Look, don’t work on this movie on Sunday, and make sure you’re doing small things that you should be religious. You. Bring the reward you want. ” “

LOOSLI is also proud that he and other professors are always driving their students to work hard in their crafts.

While working on “Student accomplice”, Lisa Bird, a recent graduate and lighting expert, often spent a long time on a computer lab. Even after graduating in the spring, Bird went to a computer lab every day and continued to work on the movie as she had arrived in the last three semester to complete the movie.

“That’s a bit strange. Because, as an animator, we can’t really go out and see too much light,” she said.

Even for a long time, the bird’s religion has grown as her and other students overcome some technical issues in creating a movie.

“Byu is a really unique environment where we pray together and share testimony with each other,” she said.

According to Bird, the award of the Student Academy Awards was the approval of all hard -working students in the project.

“I have a lot of uncertainties associated with animation. I’m really happy that I can’t afford all the difficulties,” said Bird. “We are really scary and really uncertain, but we can rely on the heavenly father, pray, and have religion.”

Kevin West, who composed the music of the “Student accomplice” film, said that when he came up with the score, he had many religions. He adjusted the score that combines jazz spontaneous rhythm. He had many years of passion due to the magnificence of the orchestra.

“I had to have a big religion for the heavenly father who had prepared for many years. West said,” For me, if we put a religion in God, he is. It was evidence that we could bring out the possibility we did not know first. “

He is not an animated student, but the waist was invited to pray to the animation students and fast.

“I really liked the sense of unity that created where it was.
