Ben Shapiro School Bill Maher after claiming that his “morality” did not come from the Bible – Faithful

Conservative commentator and podcaster Ben Shapiro kept comedian and HBO host Bill Maher at school after claiming that the Bible was full of “nonsense and evil” rather than a source of moral truth.

In Maher’s view, the Bible is at least as flawed as he perceives – and must have been made up of false men, not in itself God-inspired.

All Bibles are breathed into God and are useful in teaching, responsibilities, corrections and training that God’s servants are thoroughly equipped for all good work.

Maher, a well-known atheist, continued to say that it was a “silly argument” to claim that the Bible was primarily inspired. Because if it was truly “breathed in God,” he asked rhetorically, “how can we not agree”?

“It’s written by ‘Who Knows’, it’s not perfect, it’s written by people, so it has to be perfect.

. @Billmaher: The Bible is full of nonsense and evil. @Benshapiro: But you and I agree with morality, right? Because we were born in a society built by the Bible. You can think that you have formed your own morality, but you were born morally in 3 bases.

In response, Shapiro claimed that he and Maher had insisted morally that “I would say 87% like that.”

“Morality – not from the Bible,” rebutted Marhel, claiming that the Bible is “for slavery.”

Shapiro pushed again.

The “Real Time with Bill Maher” host seemed to be pondering the question when Shapiro offered to share his explanation of the shared views of good and evil.

“We probably grew up a few miles from each other in a Western society with thousands of years of biblical history behind it,” Shapiro said. “And you can think you hit that triple and shaped your own morality, but the reality is that you were morally born in 3 bases.”

Maher began to respond, but was cut off by applause and laughter from the audience.

When he picked up, Maher argued that Western society and its moral sense came from enlightenment. He argued that the American founders were not “particularly Christian,” and urged him to point out that Thomas Jefferson had focused on moral principles but put together a version of the Bible that removed all miracles.

The HBO host asked Shapiro why society should continue to depend on the Bible. In response, the host of the popular talk show said, “Cut flowers die.” In other words, cultures that take over themselves from their roots cannot survive.
