Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest son and first lady Melania Trump’s only child, is “very close” to accepting Jesus as his Savior, according to a prominent pastor.

On a recent episode of influencer George Janko’s podcast, Stuart Knettle, a well-known TikToker and associate pastor at Grace Community Church in New Canaan, Connecticut, said he called his oldest son, 19, at 12:30 a.m. to discuss faith.

Knechtl told Janko during his phone call with Baron that he felt he had a good case for Christianity, but acknowledged, “Up until the very end, I came in with almost nothing. But I brought dreams and revelations with me.”

NEW: Pastor Stuart Knechtl says Barron Trump is close to putting his faith in Christ and talks about his recent phone call with him.

“He’s getting to the point where he’s putting his faith in Christ, he’s getting pretty close,” Knechtl said on George Janko’s show.

What captivated the president’s son was the pastor’s last-ditch effort to highlight the testimonies of Muslims who converted to Christianity after Jesus appeared to them in dreams.

“I said, ‘Hey, look, Baron, I don’t normally take this as evidence, but I have a friend in Africa who is witnessing thousands of Muslims coming to Christ through dreams and revelations,'” Kunekul recalled. “‘How do you explain that?'”

The preacher said Mr Barron thought these accounts raised “very interesting points”.

“And that was the only thing that stuck with him,” Knechtl said. “And he’s getting to the point where he’s putting his faith in Christ, he’s getting pretty close.”

Knechtl argued that there was something attractive to unbelievers in radical conversion through dreams.

“Non-believers look at it and say, ‘Okay, maybe there’s something to that,'” he says.

Mr. Janko told the pastor that he hoped Mr. Barron would give his life to Jesus. Knechtl replied: “That’s a big deal.”

The revelations about Barron come months after President Trump joked that his work brokering a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia might help Barron get into heaven when he dies. The comment raised concerns among Bible-believing Christians, who feared the president believed he could achieve salvation.

Then, in October, the president said he was joking on Air Force One and questioned whether he would be able to go to heaven at all.

“I don’t think anything can take me to heaven,” Trump said. “Maybe I’m not in heaven. Now that I’m flying on Air Force One, I might be in heaven. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to heaven.”

In mid-November, President Trump spoke with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and once again told her that he was joking. Ingraham, a Catholic, reiterated to the president that anyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior will enter heaven, as written in Acts 4:12: “There is no salvation for anyone else! God has given us no other name under heaven by which we should be saved” (NLT).

Please continue to pray for the salvation of President Trump and his young son Barron.
