This week, the Apostles took to social media to share lessons from their experiences showing how the Lord strengthened them and how their time in the temple guided their decisions.
President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency, shared an experience in college where he felt overwhelmed by the learning of physics and mathematics. The Lord said to him through prayer: “I am your witness, but I am also with you.”
“If we continue to serve faithfully, the Lord will refine us. He will strengthen us, and one day we will look back and see that those trials were proof of His love,” he wrote in Lille on Nov. 25.
Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles recalled when he was training to become a fighter pilot at a U.S. Air Force base in Arizona. During that period he entered the temple for the first time after receiving a patriarchal blessing. He spoke of the peace and closeness to the Savior he felt while worshiping in the temple.
“What I learned during this sacred time helped me find deeper meaning in my life and make better decisions in my changing responsibilities,” he wrote in a Nov. 23 post.
In an Instagram video, Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles answered questions from returned missionaries about prioritizing temple marriages amid various pressures.
“My advice to anyone seeking a temple marriage is to protect the faith and righteousness of the person you are spending time with,” he wrote in Lille on Nov. 24.
In another video on Instagram, Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles answers questions from BYU Pathways Worldwide students. “Why do you join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?” the woman asks in the video. Elder Rasband answered, “The reason is Jesus Christ.”
“The more we get to know each other as believers in Christ, the more we realize that the most important thing for all of us is love for the Lord Jesus Christ,” he said in Lille on November 24th.
Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles shared his thoughts on Doctrine and Covenants 78 in an Instagram video, sharing scriptures that address the challenges and struggles we experience in this life.
“I think the Lord is teaching us here that there are many things we have not yet seen, some of which are great blessings that the Lord has in store for us,” he wrote in Reel on Nov. 28.
Camille N. Johnson, Relief Society general president, expressed gratitude to her fellow Relief Society sisters and thanked them for their example.
“Wherever I travel, I see faithful sisters doing their part to care for, encourage, and serve those in need, and to fulfill the purpose of Relief Society to bring the salvation of Jesus Christ to all sisters and brothers around the world,” she wrote in Reel on Nov. 27.
Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles delivered a portion of his October 2025 general conference message. In his talk, he talked about the parable of the Good Samaritan and said that the Savior invites each person to come to His Church.
“In the restored Church of the Lord, we are all better off when no one sits alone. Let us wholeheartedly welcome, acknowledge, serve, and love, rather than simply accommodating or tolerating,” he wrote in Reel on Nov. 26.
Sister Christine M. Yee, second counselor in the Relief Society general presidency, helped kick off this season’s Light the World initiative and demonstrated how to use the new Giving Machine digital kiosk. A social media post showed her selecting products and services from the Giving Machine to bless people around the world.
“May each of us seek ways to uplift and bless those around us, whether it’s in front of the Giving Machine or simply by following the prompting to reach out to those who come to mind. I know that as we bring the Savior’s love and salvation to another of God’s children, we ourselves will find in Him the salvation and healing we long for,” she wrote in Reel on Nov. 23.
Elder Ulises Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles shared a video of the dedication of the Bahia Blanca Temple in Argentina on Instagram.
“It is wonderful that we can commune with the Lord in the temple, worship Him, learn from Him, and receive revelation to guide our lives. I invite you to enjoy the blessings of the temple,” he wrote in Lille on Nov. 23.
