Next is a text to prayer provided by Elder Ronald A. Rusband, a quorum of the 12 Apostles, to present the Abidjan Ivory Coast Temple on Sunday, May 26th, 2025.

God, our eternal Father, you are the great Elohim, and we are delighted to gather like your children at your holy house, the Abidjan Ivory Coastal Temple. It stands as a sentinel that reflects your presence, your love, and your plans for happiness.

We love you, our Heavenly Father, and we love your Son, Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, Savior and friend. His tone sin gives purpose and peace to our lives. We love the gospel restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and we follow our living prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, who will advance your work. We today make this blessed devotion at his direction and acknowledge that he has the precious priesthood key for ordinances in the temple.

We pray that this house will enter the door for worship, make a sacred covenant, and be sacred to that door to bind you. May the Holy Spirit fill the hearts and souls of all who come before you in your home.

Now, as the appointed apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood, we offer this. May this holy house be consecrated for the blessings of the saints and for the achievements of your purpose. May all who worship here become holy and holy.

These are loyal people who have participated in the church in record numbers over the past 30 years. As the spirit of Elijah is in their hearts, they faithfully find the names of their ancestors, now on the other side of the veil, preparing to make a covenant on their behalf in the temple. May they continue to receive revelation and be urged by this important task of bringing together your sons and daughters. May the young people they attend the temple be blessed to resist the temptations of the world and create patterns of temple worship for the rest of their lives.

We dedicated our structures from the temple grounds, foundations and scaffolding, to the spires covered with the noble figure of the ancient prophet Moroni, to doors, walls and windows. We offer rooms such as baptism, initiation, donation rooms, glorious heavenly rooms, and sealing rooms with sacred altars. We dedicate our entrances, offices and halls to accommodate everyone we serve.

We offer supplementary buildings and pray that they are protected from harm and weather elements.

We welcome everyone who enters your door and pray for those who work as president, matrons, her assistants and workers, and for those who work as workers, and that they carry a spirit of love and consecration.

We pray for the protection, respect and respect of this temple. May you endure the goodness and glory of attending your work in the Kingdom of God on Earth.

We hope that the temple will help calm the conflicts and instability that have plagued the nation in the past. May this country increase strength and influence for good among its African neighbours. May those in the surrounding community feel the sacred presence of God’s temple and be blessed with its beauty and grace.

The leaders of this country should congratulate the citizens in protecting their property, privileges and rights, especially their freedom of religion. And bless this land with a spirit of cooperation, individual dignity, and love for God.

Now, our beloved Father, we thank you for the blessings of your holy house. When we offer this temple, we give our lives to you. May the light, knowledge, power and peace received in the temple reflect our love for you and our desire to be your disciple. May we deserve your blessings of grace, your constant guidance, and your careful care. May we strive to ensure that the heavenly spirit win our lives and become a peacemaker at all times.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
