Speaker and author Jenny Allen had a front row seat for the revival. And her powerful role in helping to spread the gospel to a new generation all began with a dream.

Listen to the latest episodes of “Quick Start”

Allen said her decision to start the meeting – the global effort that brought the church together for the 25-hour simultaneous broadcast is rooted in that dream.

“I’m not saying I don’t believe in God’s dreams or visions,” she said. “But I was not a man who had a dream and a vision from God. A few years ago, a friend prayed on the night that I had a dream of a few big things from God, my ministry and dreaming of coming back ten years later.”

At the time, Allen was tired and tired and was considering quitting. But the dream absolutely changed all of that and sparked her current journey to cling to faith. Allen warned that she was not a person to predict that she believes Christ would return, but pointed out that the dream had a profound effect on her.

“I don’t know when he’ll come back. I’ll never insist on that, but I can’t help him dream of vividly coming back,” Allen said. “And what it did to me was putting the urgency on me and saying, “What would you do if he came back and we knew that now?”

The dream itself was very motivated by Allen, who was considering its contents.

“It wasn’t a good dream,” she said. “Everyone said, ‘You dream of Jesus, come back. Ah, that’s the best news.’ We had so much work to do and so many people were dead, so that was bad news. ”

Allen continued. “That’s my hope and prayer. All of us awaken to it, that it’s not unique to me or those called to ministry. We are all called to take the gospel to as many people as we can.”

After she woke up from her dreams, it was a positive response from people all over the world that she felt it was important to “collect the whole world churches.”

People from all over the world have come together to enable the gathering movement – and its success continues. Meanwhile, Allen traveled and spoke as part of Unites. Many college students and young people are accepting Jesus.

“It’s all that happened all year round. I think God is in a business that works in a truly unique way on Earth,” she said. “And for some reason, I was given an incredible seat.

Allen recalls that he was at the Asbury Revival in 2023. It reminded me of the 16 days and evenings when students, the community and people all over the world gathered for unstoppable prayers and worship. She also said she saw a revival happening in prison.

“To be honest, I’m just feeling adored,” she said. “I feel like I’m standing in the midst of God’s wonder and adoration. It’s truly beautiful and amazing.”

Speaking on various university campuses with Uniteus, a ministry serving young people and seeing a large group of young people coming to Christ, Allen said she felt “grounded” and “humble” by the experience of seeing so many hearts embrace the truth.

“I feel that my belief in God is stronger than ever,” Allen said.

She said she kept saying “Yes.” That’s a lesson she believes that everyone can listen.

“I don’t think it’s special,” Allen said. “I think we should all say yes to anything God calls us. And for us, cliff jumps are usually getting higher and higher and higher, and the risks are increasing, but it always proves to be worth it. ”

She continued, “And I just want… it was true to me for the rest of my life… I put it on my gravestone where she said ‘Yes’. ”

Ultimately, Allen said he appears to share the gospel with young people, pointing to a broader decision to live vertically rather than horizontally.

“We live for this world or for heaven,” she said.

Allen also spoke about her Gathering 25 Movement, a 25-hour global broadcast featuring people around the global Christian community.

“Jesus followers from all continents and denominations, from all continents and denominations to gather across all time zones and watch the broadcast of free gatherings everywhere,” the description read. “For 25 hours, the 25 gathered invited believers from around the world to pray, repent, worship and discover how Jesus’ love is changing the world through everyday people.”

“I think people are hungry to work together,” Allen said. “I think people are hungry to see God’s movements on Earth. I think we’re all about religious attitudes and politicization. I think we all yearn for God’s true and true movements. I think that’s why people say yes. ”

Allen said she gets sad when people don’t understand the incredible good that is happening in the world as the number of people appear to trust God is increasing.

She said that after they gathered, people prayed “a new passion for the soul” and “God is awakened.”

“The church has never been bigger than it is now,” she said. “And I think it’s time for a revival.”
