The crisis of Democratic identity is not just political, but spiritual.

The Crisis Of Democratic Identity Is Not Just Political, But

It’s no secret that Democrats are confused now. And if headlines from the past few weeks tell us anything, all they can do is anger and protest that appears to have left.

As Gateway critics correctly said, “They don’t have a message, no leader, no strategy.” However, beneath the surface level chaos there is a deeper problem. The issue that is cut in the hearts of their identity: God’s rejection.

Let’s be honest. The crisis didn’t start with a bad election cycle a few months ago. It has been built for years. Decades, in 2012, Democrats made headlines when they literally removed God from their official platforms. It was not just a political move, it was a spiritual declaration. And now? They enjoy the results.

Even liberal outlets like Axios have admitted that the party is unraveling.

Props to Axios for an honest report on the Democratic state.

One segment of their recent coverage cites Democratic strategist David Scholl. “Youth have gone from the most progressive generation… to the most conservative generation that they may have experienced in 50-60 years.”

It is not just a political change, it is a call for spiritual awakening.

When a nation, party or person turns his back on God, the Bible becomes clear about what will continue. Romans 1:28 (MEV) says:

“And since they didn’t think they deserved to recognize God, God gives them to their debated hearts and does something that is not appropriate.”

I’m watching this play in real time. Democrats have embraced the chaos on the streets over the conviction of their hearts. They have raised their ideology over the truth. And the results are clear. Loss of support among working-class voters, immigrants, and even young people tired of empty promises and spiritual blanks.

Psalm 9:17 (MEV) offers a plain reminder:

“The wicked ones will be turned to Shell and become all nations that will forget God.”

It’s no wonder the Democrats are split. When you abandon the very foundation of truth, you lose your ability to guide. Americans, especially the younger generation, are hungry for purpose, stability and truth. And after all, they’re beginning to look for it elsewhere.

Voting isn’t the only issue with Democrats. It’s about value. And until they return to acknowledging God, the amount of political rebranding will not resolve the holes in their foundations.
