The California pastor is on a mission to hold the largest baptism in world history.
Mark France, a marine church in San Juan Capistrano, California, is preparing for Baptism America, a one-day event that hopes to become the “world’s largest synchronized water baptism” on June 8th. .
This is an ambitious effort following two previous events: SoCal and Baptize California baptism. The former, held in 2023, saw the latter, unfolding last year, see more than 12,200 people baptized, but nearly 4,200 people baptized.
Now France wants to raise the ante and bring these local and state events to its citizens.
“We’re starting a national movement,” France said. “I believe if God can do that here in California, he will certainly be able to do that in Tennessee, Florida, or some of the other great states.”
He continued. “We’re ready. We’re really excited about what God is doing in this baptism movement.”
Listen to France’s explanation:
France works to unite Christians across the “boundary” with the baptism sect, one of the main elements that the majority of biblical followers agree on.
“I think baptism is a catalytic thing that allows us all to come together and get excited about mobilizing our churches and working together,” he said.
The French effort comes as a report that the claim that Christian revival echoes in the US is a massive baptism in the Asbury Revival, which has broken down with the pickup truck. People from all over the world have brought about two weeks of non-stop church services.

Baptism America seeks to capitalize on this spiritual enthusiasm and invites churches across the United States to hold a synchronized baptism event on June 8th.
Individuals are also welcome to register on the Baptize America website.
France says no one is surprised by the success of the massive baptism than he does, calling it “a candidate who would probably try to do something like this.” However, he believes he was called to baptize SoCal and step onto the plate to help lead the movement.
And he knows that the local event has expanded into national efforts and now with the national quest, he has made the right phone call.
“We are a bunch of Nobodies who believe God can do anything,” France said. “And when we were trying to partner with God, he just created this divine momentum that we can’t really replicate.”
France wants to reach people who don’t normally go to church, but may be interested in the Bible and faith.
“We actually do a massive campaign. Basically, we invite people who don’t usually come to church.” Are you ready to take the next step? You will be baptized. It is the biggest day of simultaneous baptism in history. It will be a part of that,” France said.
