“(We) is eagerly lifting children and families in prayer with terrible shooting in Uvardde.”
This week, the simple tweet from Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has been fired at a fatal school in Uvalde, Texas, and has rejected the prayer and demands legislation measures. It was caused as expected.

Now, I don’t care much about the opinions of Cruz and his political attitude. This work is not about gun control discussions. What I am worried about is the overwhelming turmoil of modern culture on the purpose and power of prayer.
The “Thinking and Prayer” mantra is a useful target for those who feel the emotional sacrifice of violence by guns. Immediate courage’s reaction is to be attacked by conservatives and Christians -the majority of the majority offers the victims and their families.
“Your thoughts and prayers don’t do anything!”
The immediate assumption is that praying after a large -scale shooting is the moment when conservatives slowly scoop their shoulders, and the magical fairy pops up at the same time. He wants to cast a spell that stops being involved in violence fascinated by the fascinated people.
Certainly, Christians will only love the fact that there are many changes in mind and mind, but that’s why people provide calls after a fearful event witnessed in Buffalo in New York and Uvalde, Texas. there is no.
Critics do not understand why people pray in tragedy. Why does Christians rely on Almighty on behalf of others? When I say something like “Pray for Texas”, I’m thinking …
The 19 parents of their parents, the loved ones, and the two teachers are forced to witness and handle the children’s unthinkable children in the surviving room, and to deal with the eternal image. The evils and suffering that the two parents and the loved maniac who have been forced to go out of the forced first responders have SEAR and suffer from the survivors’ guilt and fear of the survivors. We are struggling with the fear of what we have been able to create a nation that we needed to do the only solution that we continued to ignore and ignore the school staff.
My list may continue. But the right point: people pray for peace, strength and resilience. These prayers are a caring and selfless act, and those who provide them are dedicated to seeking God on behalf of the bereaved.
This is the topic I spoke in 2018 (see below) and remains surprisingly evergreen.

Even atheist can understand the kind act of these prayers. It is an exploration to seek the peace of others by looking beyond the self. However, our toxic and anger culture is trying to misunderstand the purpose of people and use a call for prayers to grasp the political score.
It’s a shame, dishonest, dishonest, disappointing, and criticism rarely moves society in the right direction. Beyond that, there is a more ominous reality. Prayer dismissal is to impair the only appropriate antidote for the increasing hatred and evil of culture.
If there is a god who creates and loves us, we need him. Our catastrophic decision to ignore him is exactly the method we came here, and these dismissals only use fuel.
Even James Corden, the host of The Late Late Show, this week, “I had to declare that the words of thinking and prayer would come from our leaders. Representative Eric Swalwell (R-Chariff). “Please keep praying. We are working.”
I understand that we want discussions on future laws and regulations, and I think they are ordered to take action if possible. It is unknown what the action should look, and if it hinders these recent tragedies, it is not a core problem.
Please keep praying. We are working. https://t.co/rmzjnre7bo

The deeper problem at the root of our crisis is that we are those who are far away fromever.
American culture continues to deviate at a rapid pace. We told God that it was our own true Arbiters. You can decide what is right or wrong. We have abandoned the baseline built on a rock for what was built on the sand.
It is difficult for Koden, Swalwell, and others to petition for “change” when our culture accidentally chooses a steep chaos. Strangely, for some reason we still expect and feel supernatural order.
We are broken, ragged, troubled, lost, and sprinted in the wrong direction. It is not possible to legislate how to get out of cultural sepsis. Certainly, members can explore all options while balancing the border of the Constitution. But it does not completely or comprehensively modified our corruption.
Even the most widespread gun regulation measures for books, the teenager has entered an innocent room and is convinced that he is allowed to cruelly killing 19 children and two adults. Not. There is no need to change the PR at that level that cannot be achieved by lawmakers and humans.
So, action. But please pray. The Bible says at 1 Tesaronian 5:17 (ESV) to “pray without quitting.” Please pray for the victim’s family. Please pray for a change in your heart. And pray for healing.
However, above all, it will penetrate our country and reach the heart and heart for Jesus to push back the secular turmoil that derails our world.
