It was just over three weeks since we dropped our eldest son down in her “home away from home.” I casually say it, but if you are a college baby and a parent, you will understand the emotional confusion that comes with watching your child grow up at warp speed, you will only reach this important point.

Honestly, I was fine. Everything was going well. The three-hour drive to get her off was thankfully peaceful. The process of moving her was smooth and strategic. These universities have this part! The heat in Texas was at bay. It was a great blessing to believe in me. And the whole family pitched her to calm her down, except for a minor meltdown (not my end, not my end).

That’s all. We hugged her and saw her waves as we pulled away, and the car driving in the house was creepy quiet, eventless, and honestly came with minimal tears. Then we went home. I walked home and passed through the dining room where my daughter had all her cute blue and white dorm decorations…and I I lost it. The room was filled with boxes of hopes, dreams, and precious memories of the pastwith Whispers of new and exciting things to come. Now with a round wicker placemat Potpourri bowl. I was a little happy to see my table again, but the sparse image of the table and room grabbed my mom’s heart, giving way to ugly tears and gushing, uncontrollable sobs.

Oh, mom friends, if you’re in the fall season with a heavy hearti feel you. With this The season is my absolute favorite. So who doesn’t like all the pumpkin spices? I sip on the goodness of it, island Hobby lobby, With her. Sniff, Sniff.

So I bring a heart of gratitude before you and ask you to approach this precious mother. Give her gentle moments to eagerly accept your precious presence while placing her heart in your loving hands. When memories cause sadness, give her peace that surpasses all understanding and comfort. Motherhood has changed a bit, so give her a sweet opportunity to explore this season when you bring you a way to praise and praise you with her gifts. I ask this in your holy name. Amen.

Prayer for God’s wisdom, direction, and discernment

Faithful Father, thank you for providing us with the truth and wisdom found on the sweet pages of your words. As my daughter gains knowledge this semester and grows to understand and understand the world around her, I pray seriously that she will begin To truly understand the meaning of your wisdom. Prayer to find faithful fellowship

Sweet Jesus, my heart is heavy and filled with endless questions and “What ifs.” I know my child is probably exposed to many new friends and knows that finding the right church is challenging, I put it all in you More than your ability hand. Faithful friendship, respectful mentor, and for Safe and healthy boundaries. I pray that each university student will remain based on your words and learn to make sure they are responsible for each other and become “light” on campus as they grow spiritually. I pray you allow this generation of university students to stand up above And I’ll walk Be confident Who do they belong to and who do they belong to? Remember you have them and do great things! Prayer for patience and patience

Graceful God, university workloads can be intimidating and daunting, and certainly can cause fatigue and possibly excessive stress. So, so, I ask that you need to give my son patience and find a healthy balance between his studies and social life. I ask that He is overwhelmed when times become tough and he is overwhelmed by helping him manage his work and use his skills to do more than simply survive, but he thrives by seeing his purpose this season. God, remind him that you will hold his future and that you will meet all of his needs in your time. Thank you for covering your son with your regulations so that he can withstand everything. Amen.

Let’s not get tired of doing good At the right time If you don’t give up, you’ll reap the harvest. Galatians 6:9

Prayer for protection

God, I am not naive. Because I know this fall semester will bring challenges, unjustice and dare to put my daughter in a sinful situation. After all, we live in a fallen, broken world, and our children are our main targets. But you know that you are holy, good and you will ultimately win! It brings comfort to me, but I ask you to come to you with the heart of a worried mommy and put your intense protection on her. Protect her mind, mind, and body and fight any battles she may go unexpectedly. Give her the power to stand firm in faith, and stand up for the good, true, noble, and righteous. I ask this by your precious name. Amen.
