Read it or not… well, it never mattered? more, what read? Your fellow authors and enthusiastic readers are here and there is a list of 15 novels you won’t miss in 2025!

Confession: I don’t know you, but I am a genre hopper. I love to read all It usually depends on my mood and the current season of life. I can easily jump from Christmas novels to historical regents and enter the romantic suspense of the high stakes. There’s nothing like going directly from a hot cocoa or Christmas tree to run for your life! ::Wink::

The story is powerful. They escape, entertain and teach us how we see life through other perspectives. And when the book is Christian fiction, that’s even better. They draw us deep into our walks with Christ, encourage us, and remind us of a good victory over evil, even on the darkest days.

This list is no exception. From romantic comedies to suspense, fantasy, and female fiction, there are new/forthcoming releases that everyone will bring with them as they head into the final quarter of 2025.

Almost loved – Kendra Brockhuis

Genre: Female fiction

Publisher: Waterbrook & Multnomah.

Release date: November 2025

I’m very excited about this release from Kendra Broekhuis. Her first novel between you and us was very thought-provoking and moving. The nearly beloved book promises to tell again on a journey to find the answer to the looming questions, a story about a young woman who discovers in a DNA test that her father is not her father, and a journey to find the answers to the looming questions.

First Love, Second Draft – Becka Kinser

Genre: Romance

Publisher: Tindale Fiction

Release date: April 2025

Becca Kinzer writes with carefree wit and memorable jokes. Her romance was comedy and incredible parts, and this novel was something to remember! There are ratios of Second Chance Romance, Baseball Star Hero, and Rom-Com author heroines, and this is a fun read that you won’t want to miss. After the injury, will Gracie Parker meet the deadline for her novel and find a second chance with her ex-husband and professional ball player, Noah? Or will life continue to throw curveballs either of them expect?

The Tempest at Annabelle’s Lighthouse – Jaime Joe Wright

Genre: Dual Timeline Mystery

Publisher: Bethany House

Release date: April 2025

If you like reading eerie books and don’t really like being scared, Jaime Joe Wright is your author. She essentially created her own novel genre that includes dual timelines, suspense, mystery, and creepy enough to keep reading with her back on the wall. She sells the book as “Scooby Doo,” and it’s all explained, beating evil. Her latest release, Annabelle’s Tempest at Lighthouse, is an almost right-wing spooky read featuring a woman who was abused in 1874, the lighthouse keeper, and current researchers seeking clarity about her failed marriage. Perfect reading for autumn!

Burnt Book Collector – Rosanna M. White

Genre: History

Publisher: Tindale Fiction

Release date: July 2025

Christie Award-winning author Rosanna White writes historical novels that make you feel like a time travel. Collectors from Burned Books are no exception, taking readers on their journey to Paris during World War II. There, Corinne Bastien, an avid reader and book parent, is on her own mission.

Sue Sa Chronicle: Protector – Megan Shoris

Sue Sa Chronicle: Appreciator – Megan Shauris

Genre: Young Adult

Publisher: White Crown Publishing

Release date: April 2024 and April 2025

This dulogy gets two slots, as the books need to be read together. Megan Schaulis, the winner of the 2025 Protector Award, competed for the role of a bodyguard to the King, no matter how Esther’s story was roughly retold in a dystopian future. This two-part adventure has plenty of romance enough to tie it to real troubled and interesting characters, futuristic nanotech, tattoo superhero female security guards, family loyalty, action and one of the favorite series of the year.

Second Story Book Shop – Dennis Hunter

Genre: Romance

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: October 2025

Dennis Hunter has always been one of my car writers. I adore every book she has ever written, and I am really looking forward to the bookstore upstairs. Sold as “The Perfect Lover for Debbie McConver and Gilmore Girls,” the Second Story Bookshop features a woman who inherits her grandmother’s beloved bookstore. The other half goes to the very man who broke her heart many years ago. This Enemy is Lover, Second Chance Story will definitely complement your favorite cozy blankets and soups of this fall season!

Jack Susan May Warren

Genre: Contemporary romantic suspense

Publisher: SDG Publishing

Release date: January 2025

Jack is the first book in the Minnesota Kingstons series by Susan May Warren. He may deserve the crown of being the queen of modern romance/suspense. Jack kicks the series of these five brothers (Jack, Conrad, Doyle, Austin and Steinbeck) with a second-chance romance, grumpy/Sunshine, boy/girl next door ratios. Not to mention the suspensefulness of adding a book 2 to your cart before reaching the final chapter. Jack is a professional tracker and a discoverer of people. Of course, when one of his sister’s bridesmaids goes missing just before the wedding, he takes the case… he crushes him for years with his sister’s best friend, and is now a journalist. Together, will they find the missing murder podcaster? Or is the only thing Jack has found this time an issue?

The perfect Rom -Com – Melissa Ferguson

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: February 2025

I should have expected famous ROM-COM author Melissa Ferguson to eventually write a book about the ROM-COM author. This is my favorite of Melissa’s books so far. It seems they say this after reading each one. When the aspiring author, Briony Page rejects her manuscript, but gets to the success of ghost writing behind someone else’s scenes, she learns the secrets, the meaning of success and the hard way about falling for an agent by mistake.

Wes and Addy had a chance – Bethany Turner

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: July 2025

Bethany Turner is another auto-purchasing author for me. Her novels are hilarious and have deep characterizations that make you forget that the characters are not authentic. (I don’t want to admit that yet) Wes and Addy are Altar a altar’s second chance to complete a loosely connected series set set in Adelaide Springs, Colorado. (You’d definitely want to go back and read others!) In this latest release, Addi returns home with many secrets as a high-ranking CIA analyst who lost his job, lying low and trying to pick up broken pieces of her life. Will these two have another chance in life…and love?

Keeper – Charles Martin

Genre: Contemporary

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: April 2025

This is a surprise addition to the beloved Murphy Shepherd series, where no one came. The Keeper is technically a book 4, so if you haven’t read the first three novels on this set, I highly recommend it…but only when you’re ready to shake your world. Charles Martin did it again with this amazing addition featuring Murphy Shepherd, a human trafficking rescue team, who is about to take up the mantle that his mentor, Bones, started. When the Vice President’s three daughters are accused of from their homes without traces, Murph may be the only one who can find them.

French Kitchen – Christicambron

Genre: Dual Timeline

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: August 2025

Christie Cambron is another historical author who brings the past effortlessly. Her latest offering, the French Kitchen, is a World War II novel that alternates between Paris and rue in 1952 and 1943, brings readers to the tasty and charming world of culinary craftsmanship of Julia’s children, the shady abdomen of the spy team, and the clash between two women trying to make a difference and find a future in the world of war.

Glass Beyond the Sea – Saraela

Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

Publisher: Enclave Publishing

Release date: October 2025

Saraela creates a fantastic world. Her upcoming release, Glass Along the Sea, looks equally interesting as Noel, the daughter of the glassmaker, and her father, told her that she grew up. She recognizes that the story is more than a story when her father embarks on a mission for miracles, and Noel must fight a fight at home to protect everything she loves. Glass, the legendary, the curse that the prince must break, and the mystical enemy that hinders them all, should be an adventure for all ages.

Something like Scotland – Pepper Basham

Genre: Romance

Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Release date: April 2025

Pepper Basham did it again, creating a fun and entertaining romance of the perfect mash. Podcaster Katie has built her career as a “Miss Adventure.” This is known for always saying yes to new foods, countries, and experiences (although it is usually wrong and causes all sorts of havoc). When she offers the opportunity to go on a three-week Edwardian adventure, she eagerly agrees. Would the opposite of these two be to find a home in an unexpected place? With a slump/sunny/opposite charm ratio to the opposite of the sun, this is a fun turmoil throughout Scotland and you’ll laugh a lot.

Holly and Nick hate Christmas – Betsy St. Amant

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Publisher: Waterbrook & Multnomah

Release date: September 2025

Well, certainly this is a shameless plug because I am the author, but really – this is a fun book! Think of this Christmas rom-com how to lose a man in 10 days, encountering family stones full of confusion, family secrets, and plenty of holiday hijinks. When a Christmas-hating female brother sets her up with a fellow Grinch and that backfires, she decides to kick her out of her date by starting a festive fight for Wills… Start, Operation: Holly makes Buddy look like the elves hate Christmas. Will Holly’s plan for revenge backfire, like all of her favorite films, with a spectacular explosion of red and green sprinkles and disappointment?
