The Ashai Manghana Stake Centre was filled with a spirit of smiles, songs and achievements on Saturday, July 19th.
The celebration, hosted by Ashaiman stock, not only achieved academic achievement, but also deepened personal growth, faith, and increased the confidence that students have gained.
“This isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of something bigger,” said Elder Adeyinka Ojediran, the 70 presidents of the Western African president and first counselor who hosted the event. He added: “You have not only acquired skills and knowledge, but you have grown with faith, discipline and God’s purpose.”
A program that combines faith and education
BYU-Pathway Worldwide offers affordable and accessible higher education to students around the world, combining academic learning with the principles of mental and temporal independence. PathwayConnect fostered faith in Jesus Christ and reported on the Church’s African newsroom, helping students develop practical skills to support their families.
Byu – Victor Ukorebi, a senior Nanagur in the African region of Byu -Pathway Worldwide, urged graduates to move forward as light.

Osmani Saed, International Area Director for BYU -Pathway Worldwide, said the program prepares “disciples of Jesus Christ, the leaders of the church, family and community.”
Elder Samuel Annan Simmons, 70 members of the area, congratulated the graduates and thanked the programme leaders for lifting up and preparing Latter-day Saints across Ghana.
Music, testimony, celebration

The program included performances by the young single adult choir of the Ghana national anthem, Ashayman Ghana Stake and presentation of certificates to each graduate. Prideful family and friends filled the room and cheered on the students.
Valedictorian Maame Efua K. Zwennes described PathwayConnect as “not just a school program.”
“It’s a changing invitation — not just academically, mentally, but spiritually,” she said.

Elder Odedylan concluded by sharing, “Byu – pathway is truly a tool in the hands of the Lord. Let us continue to learn, grow and lift others in the path of covenant.”
